And the winner of Buzzjack's Ultimate Female 2012 is Rihanna by 161 points over 2nd placed Beyonce! She stays at #1 for the second successive year and as of early 2012 she has sold over 25 million albums and 60 million digital singles. After many successful singles, Rihanna took things to a whole new level with the late 2011 release of 'We Found Love' with Calvin Harris. It was another massive worldwide #1 and was certified multi-platinum in many countries. It also was #1 in the UK for 6 weeks, Rihanna's longest #1 reign since 'Umbrella's 10 weeks in 2007. It was the lead single from Rihanna's 6th album 'Talk That Talk' which has sold over 3 million copies worldwide of which nearly a million in the UK and also provided the singles 'You Da One', 'Talk That Talk' featuring Jay-Z and 'Where Have You Been'. Recently, Rihanna released her 7th album 'Unapologetic' preceded by another worldwide #1 hit 'Diamonds' and includes new single 'Stay' featuring Mikky Ekko.

To complete the same top 2 from last year, Beyonce finishes just 12 points ahead of 3rd placed Britney Spears. Despite a quiet 2012, 2011 saw the release of Beyonce's 4th solo album '4' which reached #1 in the UK, US and several other countries. All 5 singles from the album 'Run The World (Girls)', 'Best Thing I Never Had', 'Countdown', 'Love On Top' and 'End Of Time' reached the UK top 40 from which 'Best Thing I Never Had' peaked at UK #3. Beyonce has sold approximately 50 million albums worldwide as part of Destiny's Child and over 75 million albums worldwide as a solo artist!

Don't try and reason with the guy who thinks Hot Problems is one of the best songs of the year and Euphoria is one of the worst, as well as feeling that Amy Winehouse and Kate Bush are two of the worst singes ever :drama:

Little correction :

1. "Hot Problems" :

a) Very hilarious song.

b) I can listen it again and again.

c) Significant 2012 song [same thoughts about everything in my top 5 for this year] "Hot Problems", "Social Network Song" e.t.c will be in my heart forever.

"Light Up The World" was good, but it's forgetable and not a sign or music Holy Bible.

 

2. Amy Winehouse and Rihanna are worst 2 singers ever for me.

My music taste in summary is not so bad, as most Buzzjack forum members think. -_-
