As Carly has seemly confirmed that 'This Kiss' is the next single from her 2nd studio album 'Kiss' with her new Facebook cover photo (shown below), I guess it's time for a new thread!

Nothing like 'Call Me Maybe' (or 'Good Time' - but I class that as Owl's song more than hers) at all, but it's still a nice enough little pop song. I was expecting something a little stronger though. It's quite tinny and cheap in it's production. But I like it for now.

I really wish 'Hurt So Good' was being released instead of this, I can't get enough of that song!

Saw the video on a music channel for the first time today! Hopefully she will get an X Factor performance or some other big promo slot! :D

I think this era is already ruined, This Kiss hasn't really started with much momentum at all. It's shocking taking into account how massive Call Me Maybe was, the album release was handled AWFULLY though, it had no buzz around it in the slightest. Had it been released after Call Me Maybe, It would have been much more successful, especially after the way Good Times was released here.

I don't think its ruined! I've started seeing 'This Kiss' all over the music channels over the last couple of days. The album release was a tricky one, I doubt it would have been anywhere close to being ready back in April/May, I think the 'Good Time' release was the worst handled though. They should have released that completely OA/OS, or released it the week before the album when it was supposed the be released.

 

Hope Carly does some promo for 'This Kiss' and she can at least get another top 40! :D
