Massive HA at Animal Practice, but also a massive YAY.

Not surprised by Animal Practice, I didn't even finish the pilot it was that bad. Joanna Garcia needs to find a hit.

 

I'm not sure about The Neighbors, it could actually have good retention out of The Middle, feels like a better fit.

 

Looking forward to Elementary, originally thought it would be a hit but CBS aren't having the best week, especially the 10pm dramas. Also going to be giving Last Resort a shot, heard lots of good things.

WOT. I liked Animal Practice! :( Ugh probably won't bother watching it now since it's definitely getting axed.

OMG at Animal Practice. First ep was really enjoyable and I got my hopes up :(

Oh my actual GOD. The Mindy Project is INCREDIBLE *.*

I got 6 minutes in and had to stop. I shall try again, but it's not looking good.

I got hooked INSTANTLY. The joke about accepting only white patients KILLED me I couldn't stop laughing for minutes. I guess it was slightly racist but I was actually laughing at Mindy and how she handled this. :lol:

I found myself comparing the two as well!

 

And OOOH both of them are on FOX right? Surely they should separate them? Although if the lead-in is New Girl it could save Mindy's chances.

New Girl's pilot was in another league to Mindy. I hope it gets funnier.

 

Last Resort on ABC has had some great reviews so I'll watch that in a bit. I'll probably be an 8pm bomb though.

The Mindy Project was funny as hell. I can't pick out a highlight either.

 

 

New Big Bang Theory last night ^_^ My dad's downloaded it for family viewing tonight :lol:

So last night Last Resort got a 2.2 which ain't great, but it's on par with Charlie's Angels and Missing. Elementary got a 3.1 - hopefully that will tumble FAST and Person Of Interest got a rather low 2.9 which is a bit of a shame, thought it would be a lot more given S1 ended on a rather good cliffhanger and it was getting 3.3/3.4 a lot in the second half of S1.

Terribly disappointing for Scandal - I think it matches last season's peak but that's pathetic retention out of Grey's. Having the lead-in obviously hasn't done a thing for it so I imagine it'll be moved before long to give something else the benefit of the Grey's lead-in.

 

NBC had a good night with their comedies.

 

I hope Parks and Rec will HOLD AWWWWN. They really can NOT cancel the best show of ALL-TIMES.

Ouch for Scandal. And its half hour ratings were 2.5/2.0. Not good.

Last Resort is DOA.

Glee is definitely dwindling in popularity

Awesome for Grey's though, that show is truly one of the few "classics" that has consistently good ratings.

The NBC numbers are inflated, so we'll have to wait til the finals come out

Yeah, Scandal isn't in a great position. It's a shame as it's a great show, but it's never really been able to BUILD on it's audience.

Barely anything really builds on its audience. It's done very well to never dip below a 2.

 

Last Resort was pretty good when it got going and I was hooked by the end - will stick with it until it gets pulled.

 

Loved Elementary. OOPS.

I am refusing to watch Elementary on PRINCIPLE alone.
