COURSE it will get 9th season! They should get the show to s10 and then end it with dignity, EPIC FINALE and consequent disappointment the people who stopped watching it at any point during the previous 9 seasons would feel after seeing how epic the finale will have been! I mean imagine all the gravedigger episodes, last season's finale and Angela's death and put it into one episode. Now THAT would make a seriously incredible final episode.

As if! Pavel you can not kill Angela. While that would make an epic finale, I would like it to go beyond season 10!

It's still the centrepiece of the Fox schedule, they have nothing else they can use as a lead in for next season.

Imagine Hodgins killing the guy who kills Angela and Bones with Booth have to throw their careers to help Hodgins escape 'justice'... :o or something. Imagine all the tears in that 2-part finale (first one would see Angela's sudden death and the next one with the aftermath).

But it's 100% unlikely they'll ever kill off a MOTHER in this show, or any of the lead characters that have been here since the first couple of seasons. Well, except for Camille who I see them killing off in a blink of an eye. BUT she has a child too so I GUESS NOT.

That's what I concluded from this: I NEED SOMEONE KILLED OFF. :(

Apt23/Mindy DON'T GO :'(
Oh Lordy, I really am surprised by the abject DISASTER Apt.23 has been this series, I mean it did pretty well, consistently so, in S1. It's a shame it's gone so awry because it really does hit the mark LOL wise very often for me.
Last season it only had 7 episodes in the comfy post-Modern Family slot. Now its on in ABC's worst day with a terrible lead-in from Happy Endings, and against similar young skewing comedies from Fox and NBC. A disaster basically.

2.3 Survivor

2.3 CSI

2.2 X Factor

1.4 Chicago Fire

1.3 Law & Order SVU

1.1 Guys With Kids

1.1 Whitney

Apartment 23 is miles ahead of all the other comedies right now :( So annoying.

Krysten Ritter makes me howl in it.

Apartment 23 really is the most hilarious comedy on right now. (Parks will always have my heart but that's not really about huge belly laughs) I NEED it to survive!

Not aware of any word on Alphas yet or any idea of how the ratings are so if it's expected to be back.

2.5 The X Factor

1.9 Glee

XF actually up from yesterday and last week, football overun helped. Another series low for Glee though (heard that it was the first scripted original on Thanksgiving in five years?)

From what I saw during the S2 run, Alphas could go either way. The ratings are FINE (for SyFy), but it's pretty much their lowest rated scripted show. Plus the powers that be up in SyFy Towers are known f***tards.

3.3 The Simspons

3.0 Once Upon A Time

2.8 Family Guy

2.5 The Amazing Race

2.2 Revenge

2.0 Bob's Burgers

1.9 The Cleveland Show

1.8 The Mentalist

1.7 The Good Wife

1.2 666 Park Avenue

CBS and especially Fox had Football overruns (again) so will adjust down. Glad OUAT climbed back into the 3.0's.

OUAT didn't help Revenge though, not quite a series low but the week off hurt it, three tenths below the previous season low. :(

To be fair it was a flashback episode. OVER IT.
