From what I understand the animated comedies are picked up much further in advance than scripted shows because it takes a very long time to produce the actual episodes. I believe they have enough to air some next year but it's too late to order a full season. The ratings are also shit so if anything the best case scenario I see is fox giving them an extra couple of episodes at most to wrap it up. If I'm wrong and it get's picked up for midseason next year it'll be it's last season. The show is dead.

See I used to think this, but I watched some documentary with the makers of South Park and they said with the technology available now they can produce an episode of South Park within a day!

Looking forward to seeing what The Following gets...

True, but Alcatraz started with a 3.3 and ended up hovering around 1.5, I expect similar here once there's more competition. Haven't watched it yet so no comment on the quality.

Apartment 23 has been yanked from the schedule to be replaced with an extra episode of Happy Endings to speed up it's burn off.

Apartment 23 is de facto cancelled.

Fringe finale adjusted up to a 1.1 *.*

Small victories and all that, but it at least matched the season high and topped the S4 finale.

As, I would imagine, is Happy Endings.

Oh and The Following adjusted up to a 3.2.

I would imagine so but it is a lot closer to syndication but it think it's just a little too far away for a hail mary renewal.

True, though stranger things have happened (HI Body Of Proof, which still only has 42 episodes after this season).
Booooo Apartment 23 was always my favourite of the new comedies (2 Broke Girls / Suburgatory / New Girl). :(

Sunday finals:

16.8 NFL Playoffs (47 million viewers)

3.5 Hawaii 5-0

No adjustments for Revenge or Once.

Tuesday ratings:

2.2 New Girl

2.1 The Taste

1.8 Parenthood

1.7 Raising Hope

1.5 Private Practice

1.5 The Mindy Project

1.3 Go On

1.2 The New Normal

1.2 Ben & Kate

0.6 Hart Of Dixie

0.4 Emily Owens MD

EDIT: Tuesday finals updated

Cooking show winning :mansoncheer:
Is that the one with Queen Nigella on it?

omg the last Mindy Project episode was absolutely HILARIOUS. The best since the very first two.

The scene in the shower. *.*

"Ben and Kate" is also effectively cancelled, Fox are running with double episodes of "Raising Hope" through most of February, with "Hell's Kitchen" starting in March between 8-9. "Raising Hope" will have American Idol as it's lead-in for the finale though, still no word on "The Goodwin Games" yet.
Woah! Fox are pulling Ramsey off the Friday bench?!?! Not surprised to see Ben and Kate being de facto cancelled, horrific show. The child is outstanding but that couldn't save the show from the tard that got the lead male role.

Goodwin Games looks set for Summer. Awkward.

Glee is also being pre-empted in March for the season finale of Raising Hope.

Wednesday:

5.4 American Idol

4.1 Modern Family

3.0 Criminal Minds

2.7 CSI

2.5 The Middle

2.3 Suburgatory

1.9 The Neighbors

1.8 Nashville

1.1 Arrow

0.9 Supernatural

Does anyone have any idea what's going on with Save Me? Is it ever going to air?

Also, has this been posted? From TVLine:

* No decisions have been made on renewals for Nikita, 90210 and Hart of Dixie. But Pedowitz declared that he is “a big believer in giving fans a very satisfactory conclusion,” should any of the network’s long-running series get axed. “It’s something that we as a television industry need to do.”

Awesome.
