ABC press releases really are utterly brilliant sometimes

Head to head from 9-11pm, ABC’s series debut of Red Widow drew 35% more viewers than NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice premiere. Red Widow pulled in ABC’s largest series audience in the 2-hour slot since season-premiere Sunday 5 months ago – since 9/30/12.

ABC can spin anything in their favour.

Something needs to be done about their Sunday lineup. Heck they cant even schedule mid season shows, last year GCB had the most horrid scheduling and it only had 10 episodes to air.

I think what this season has proved is that GCB really should have been given another season, it's average was the same as Scandal and look at it now, plus compared to their other new shows it would have been a smash hit.

STILL BITTER - ONE YEAR AND COUNTING

and GCB had a way better retention out of DH than Scandal had of Grey's, the difference is Scandal had a normal scheduling and it maintained its ratings steadily in the mid to high 1's.

They are so amazing! I love how they specifically state the 'two hour slot'. *.*

THIS, just THIS.

Slightly but not entirely surprised at Raising Hope's renewal.

Not at all surprised at The Following though. It and Bones have been doing exceptionally on Monday's.

Also they had no new hit shows this season.

Well Scandal has been a breakout hit but yeah, their new shows have performed dreadfully. All the networks are in awful shape really apart from CBS.

Sorry to burst your bubble guys but GCB was falling off by the end of the season and it would've flopped if they'd brought it back. Anyway Annie Potts (aka the fabulous GIGI) has now been cast in some new camp as tits lady detective pilot on ABC so it's worked out pretty well. :D

Even CBS haven't faired too well on the new drama front, Elementary being the best but it's hovering around the low 2.0's now and has been for quite some time. Vegas was a birrofaflop and Golden Boy looks to be doing even WORSE. Plus with HIMYM ending next season they'll probably follow suit eventually.

ON MY SHITTING CHRIST THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE BEST THING EVER BASED ON THOSE FEW WORDS

Clearly Raising Hope is syndication renewal. Can see it floating around on Fridays with a New Girl repeat.

Interesting that Glee wasn't included in the Fox renewals. It's rating poorly for Fox, especially behind AI where it is utterly wasting the best lead in on Fox. Got my fingers crossed it is axed before Murphy can destroy it further.

SECONDED

Deadline reports that Glee is still in some negotiations. No way is it being cancelled already, whether the renewal is for a fifth and final season though..

If it gets picked up I will inundate ABC with demands to have Angela Lansbury as a guest star. You just cannot do an old lady detective drama without J B.

It should be it's last season. I can see it on Friday's though. They have nothing else to go there and it's sitting around the lowest rated hour on Fox right now. Fox won't break apart Bones and The Following (Bones is too highly rated and brings in too much money to go to Friday) and that Thursday slot is too valuable to keep giving to a rapidly dying show when a new show can utilise it to be come a hit for Fox.

I would petition for it to be set in Dallas, TX with the cast of GCB :kink:

Mother and daughter detectives taking down the Cockburn empire *.*

well apparently a mini series on History called The Bible got something like 13 million viewers last night, might've impacted OUAT.
Yes I am sure the religious are a huge fan of OUAT.

Yes because only religious fanatics will watch the show... I'm not even religious but I'm curious about it

I think it's more a case of OUAT being quite a family oriented show and The Bible does seem like the kind of thing that could gets lots of families watching, especially on a Sunday night. Though obviously that doesn't account for the dramatic drop in 18-49, but then again the ratings system doesn't really lend itself to accounting for anything very well.

I realise that really says NOTHING AT ALL, but hey, it makes sense to me.
