I wouldn't worry about OUAT or Revenge for that matter. They have good enough ratings to guarantee a 3rd season and next year they will have to get a renewal for syndication reasons.

 

As for Glee, it's definitely getting a 5th season, which I think and hope will be its last. They can't keep graduating characters every year, it has to stop one day.

 

For the Glee series finale they should totally have Sue Silvester burn the school down with the whole Glee club in it! :lol:

People in America just don't want to watch broadcast TV most days of the week. But then you have shows on HBO, AMC, Showtime etc continually breaking their own records and increasing in viewership. I honestly think 50% of the reason the networks are failing is because most of the new shows are just rubbish concepts. The amount of violence/sex/graphic material you can show on broadcast might be part of the reason, but all the good scripts are going to cable.

 

The scheduling doesn't help. Once and Revenge haven't recovered from ABC's rather idiotic scheduling a few weeks ago.

Precisely. I can't remember there being this many groundbreaking cable shows for a long, long time. Well, it's probably not happened ever.

 

Some truly awful numbers. I'm not sure network dramas will recover until executives realise that 10-15 episode seasons just work better. I thought they would have learned this with the out-cry of LOST, and when they re-scheduled 24 because the cliffhangers we're too much.
