That's one of two things. CBS is either axing it or seeing how it rates on a Friday to get it to replace CSI:NY.

I'm sure I read it's only airing on Fridays once and then staying in its regular time slot.

CBS press release says it's moving for good from April 5th after the NCAA Basketball Games. Golden Boy airs on Friday this week and then moves to Tuesdays.

I can't see them renewing Vegas, the ratings have been really bad and Dennis Quaid will not come cheap at all, they should shunt one of their other ailing drama's (TGW or TM) to a Friday night slot, but either way it does seem to point to CSI:NY finally being put out to pasture too.

I guess it might be adjusted up and/or Revenge down, but is Once generally considered to have a good second season or not? That's quite the dip from last year.

 

In terms of story? Personally I think S2 has been INFINITELY better than S1 and in general reviews have been more positive as there's more of a narrative now and the characters actually seem to be more interesting too. Perhaps part of the issue is you actually need to pay a bit of attention to the story now where if you miss 2/3 episodes you will have missed key INFO. Then again that was more true for the first 10 episodes of the season and it was riding high that whole time.
