Because it's crap?

And I agree with Liam - I heard LMLY for the second time today. His voice sounded SO whiney and irritating, after not minding it on the first listen.

Because nobody's playing it, radio and TV are still obsessed with Payphone. Personally I think it would be a dumb choice for official second single over here, I would go with something like Fortune Teller.

That didn't stop either of their last two singles! Needless to say I'm very glad to see 'One More Night' not taking off yet but it's surely only a matter of time before it becomes another massive hit for them (it's gone to #1 in the USA which 'Payphone', oddly, never managed). I do say this having not heard it but I'm not exactly going to like it, I only hope it's less obnoxious than 'Moves Like Jagger' or at least 'Payphone', won't take much to improve on those two.

'Daylight' seems to be the 3rd single so we'll probably get that if they pass over 'One More Night' (which I hope they do as Daylight is better).

Very current Leona. :o

Yes that sounds VERY 2012 which isn't a bad thing but it'll be hard to lift this above the bog standard fare in the charts. I suppose something new had to be tried though I'm not entirely convinced this is the right move but it could grow on me!

Hopefully this will get cherry picked when the albums released. Could honestly see it going top 20 on itunes

The song would be much better if you could hear her more clearly but it's still very good! I do look forward to seeing this as a single (assuming it does get released).

Shouldn't you be training for the Liverpool game on Sunday?

lol. Hopefully we'll smash Liverpool on Sunday.

Im glad Gangnam Style is not at #1 but it will almost certainly get there by the end of the weekend. I can see it being as high as #3 on the official chart on Sunday.

It would be ridiculous if they didn't release One More Night here imo. And even if they didn't, you'd think it would at least do SOMETHING here solely based off how huge it is in the US (like We Are Young basically got attention here because of how big it was in the US).

One More Night has luckily scraped in the UK top 100 at #100. But the last time a US #1 missed the UK top 100 completely is Buy U a Drank by T-Pain/Yung Joc, from 2007.

Six weeks at no. 1 during X Factor season is an incredible achievement when this is the time when everyone bags a performance slot on X Factor to get their one week at #1. 'We Found Love' was a breath of fresh air to the charts for its longevity. 'Gangnam Style' could easily do this as it's likely to continue building on the momentum it's already built. Simon Cowell is a fan so PSY could even get a performance slot on X Factor which will just boost sales even more.

The only upcoming release that seems like a bonafide #1 is 'Live Like We're Young' by One Direction. PSY could easily return to #1 after that if its sales are at their peak in a fortnight. The track will also be getting more airplay on radio and music channels.

Hopefully it will have sold enough by the end of October then so Robbie can bag his first no1 in 8 years with Candy on the 4/11,although he might have left it too long!!

PSY is/are now @ #1 on iTunes - is there enough time left to overhaul The Script / will.i.am before Sunday's countdown?

FINALLY :w00t: Genuinely thought it would never happen.

As for the official #1, I doubt it. We'll have to see where it is on the mids today, but I'm not even sure it's #2 yet. When did Poker Face go to iTunes #1 on the week that it first got there unexpectedly?

Not unless it sells at the rate of an XF winner... :P
