September 23, 201212 yr I expect 'Make You Feel My Love' will appear on here as well. Oh yes, of course :P I don't really associate that song with '19' any more, it might as well have been the first single from '21' given the circumstances around its chart run.
September 23, 201212 yr I love ABBA’s Fernando – tbh, I don’t think they can go wrong at all with any of their songs! Chasing Pavements is my favourite Adele single! Really wish there is something like this on her new album. Top Adele Singles: 01. Chasing Pavements 02. Rolling in the Deep 03. Turning Tables 04. Hometown Glory 05. Someone Like You 06. Rumour Has It 07. Set Fire to the Rain 08. Cold Shoulder 09. Make You Feel My Love I love all her singles so much though! Was really hard to rank them!
September 23, 201212 yr 'Turning Tables' wasn't a single. I was just going off the list Wikipedia gives. I knew it wasn't a single in the UK, but I thought it could have been in some other countries. It appears to be just a radio-promo single though.
September 23, 201212 yr I wonder what the lowest charting single in this will be. Chasing Cars? Or Mr Brightside?
September 23, 201212 yr This is actually very interesting. Being points based, it's more difficult to predict the order. What is surprising is seeing UK #1 singles with a fair few weeks at the top collecting less points than tracks that just made the UK top 5 but stuck around longer.
September 23, 201212 yr And "Breakeven" now I think about it. It's so hard to predict because it's like a sales chart if the #1 sold 100k but the #10 sold 91k and the #40 61k - it favours sticking around in lower positions hugely.
September 24, 201212 yr Since the 'Download Era' began, all Chart Lists based on Points are dominated by Hits from the past 5 or 6 Years. That means that Adele, Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Kings Of Leon, & Take That, (from 2006 onwards), will all have more than one Hit, that is very high in this Top 1000. There will be hardly any Hits - at all - from the 1970's, & 1980's, in the final Top 100, in this Top 1000. (Maybe just 10 or 12 Hits from those 2 Decades, in the final Top 100, with a few from the 1990's. The bulk of the final Top 100 will be from 2006 to 2012, & the 1950's - & some from the 1960's). It is the same if you use Points to work out the 'All Time Hits' in The Netherlands, Germany, France, Australia, USA etc. Always Hits from about 2006 onwards dominate the final Top 100.
