I’ve been busy this ,or ing but I’ll yptry and give this a go this afternoon.

Look forward to your thoughts!

Starting my listen through now. I listened to this back in June so it'll be interesting to see how familiar it all is with me.

History Is Made At Night:

Was not expecting this type of sound and I can already tell from this that it won't be your 'typical' Steps album.

It's not bad but it's not really what I want from them. (I think I'll be saying that a lot over the next 10 posts).

Overjoyed:

Again it's not bad, but not great. I don't mind this type of music it's the type of thing that'd I'd expect to hear playing in a lift/elevator. (Is that still a thing?)

It May Be Winter Outside:

This is quite nice and the album is getting slightly better with each track. It's still not what I want or expect from a Steps Christmas album but it's easy enough on the ears.

One Less Bell To Answer:

Again it's not bad, but I'm starting to notice these songs aren't really very Christmasy.

Light Up The World:

Best thing on the album so far. Saying that it's still like a 5 or 6 out of 10 though. The 7th Heaven remix is better in my view.

When She Loved Me?

What is this doing on a Christmas album? Wait is this even a Christmas album??

It sounds like a song from a musical I guess.

Christmas (Baby Please Come Home):

Ok I do like this song, but not this version sorry. Leona Lewis's is my favourite.

Please Come Home For Christmas:

Ok it's picking up a little again, this isn't too bad. Is this Lee singing?

Sorry my thoughts were very short and not very positive. I am glad it's over, not sure I'll give this album another listen by choice though. Which is kindof sad as I like many of you am a massive Steps fan.

Oh c**p. I just posted it all in the wrong thread!!

Could a mod please move this to the 'Listening Party' thread??

Thanks. :)

This really is the takeaway one to be honest!
