This is a note to everyone.

A certain Facebook group (apparently called UK Top 40 Chart Chat) has been brought to my attention. A couple of saddos on there, are copying & pasting posts from Buzzjack.

The Rihanna sales thread has been posted there & the YTD charts, are also being nicked, weekly.

I know a lot of hard work goes into Buzzjack threads & the people that start, them.

It's grossily unfair that these urchins, constantly steal other people's work & don't even source material, or give you any credit.

Some of them even nick, other sites logos, too.

If you notice this kind of thing, don't be afraid to give them a personal message (failing a kick in the teeth) :teresa:

I would - except I'm not on Facebook...

Some of the posters at that Facebook group are members of Buzzjack while others are members of Haven and/or ukmix (the admin for that Facebook group posts over at ukmix).

To be fair, a number of threads that appear at Buzzjack are also common to the other two boards mentioned above so it's probable that the same information is going to appear elsewhere on the internet. Plus some of it doesn't originate here and is posted here from elsewhere. It's the way its been since the good old days of Dotmusic and Worldpop in the early 2000s where threads were often copied from one site to the other. I do agree though that credit should be given if a thread / post is copied from one board to another.

I know that feeling especially with the sales thread after I take the time out to rip all the sales topic from the main report which takes forever, and to check for mistakes over and over. The sales topic is horrendous to find all the sales info, as all the sales are everywhere and in no particular order, you are always flipping up and down the charts to allocate the sales to the position they fall in. Some consideration wouldn't go amiss.
