Oh really? Well they don't seem to mind my YTD chart threads, for a start...

You're tolerated because of those threads, no other reason.

Oh really? Well they don't seem to mind my YTD chart threads, for a start...

For goodness sake, lighten up - apart from anything else, this wasn't even *about* rap!. It was based on Mariah's extended success in the pop industry where 3 years is an average career.

And if you really don't like my opinions, no-one is forcing you to read this forum...

And no one is forcing you to like a genre of music. You go on about rap when it isn't provoked - seriously, if you don't like a genre, do you have to keep going on about it? WE KNOW THAT YOU DON'T LIKE URBAN MUSIC. STOP TALKING ABOUT IT.

I know that this wasn't a comment about rap, but it is comments like this that put everyone who reads the threads in the Chart Forum into a pit of misery and irritation. I should PM you what some people have said about you, it really would help you become a better poster.

And Jesus Christ, who cares what a few fanatical chart fans think?! I appreciate the work with the YTD sales but accept that your bad points outweigh your good points by miles. Deal with it.

This is NOT a thread to vent your likes or dislikes of other posters- take it to PM! Now let's stop going :offtopic: :please:

I thank you!

Griff, stop speaking down to people, Vidcapper does contribute alot in the chart forum and is ALLOWED to have his own opinion. I just wish he could have a unnessary bitch fit about your actions (mainly in lounge). Please stop trying to show off, it only makes you look worse! These Insults get you NOWHERE.

Sorry. :(

Fine - but I'd just like to place it on record that it wasn't *me* who started the personal insults.

Stop sitting in your bubble of utter delusion and accept that both artists (and in fact all artists) have their merits and their flaws.

Seriously, your ignorant views been grating on me for a while now and this is the final straw. If you can't accept that all artists have good aspects and bad aspects about their work, then you shouldn't be getting into discussions on this forum.

If you think I'm being harsh, I'm simply just saying what everyone wants to say to you. You ruin the experience of threads in the Chart Forum with your bias towards certain types of music. Didn't you ask why people didn't like you a while ago? It's because of comments like this which fail to accept and appreciate the fact that there is a genre of music out there that you do not like.

I'm sorry if you think that I am out of order for questioning your opinions, but portraying your opinion as fact proves how stupid you are.

People usually quote what amounts to an opinion on music as if it was a 'fact'.

For example I might say 'Moves Like Jagger is a fantastic track' as if it was a fact, well it is a fact as far as I'm concerned. I'm not compelled to say 'In my opinion Moves Like Jagger is a fantastic track'. I am well aware that there are those who detest it. To them *that* is a 'fact'.

Fine - but I'd just like to place it on record that it wasn't *me* who started the personal insults.

I'm sorry for calling you 'stupid' but the points I make are still very valid.

I'll stop there though.

And I wasn't criticising vidcapper for having his own opinion, if people who thought I did looked back and read my previous posts.

AND THE LINE IS DRAWN...........................................
Tinchy Stryder's career is dead. Where's his latest single... I wonder? Not even top 100.

I wish people would have seen sense in the first place and not even made him successful. See also Scouting For Girls who had a mega flop comeback recently.

A lot of UK rappers are going to struggle now that dance-pop music is starting to fade away tbh. He was massive in 2009, but in that year you could've released practically anything electropop and it would've been massive (Black Eyed Peas and Dizzee Rascal also dominated that year for this reason).

Tinchy Stryder achieved a lot though still, who would have thought 5 or 6 years ago when he was just making mixtapes and videos for Channel U that he would have had 2 number 1's and a number of top 40 hits.

Yes, he's had an amazing career. And I'm sure he'll get another top 100 hit at least one day. There's bound to be a collaboration he does that charts or something, or if he can get Capital FM to playlist one of his songs again (they haven't played him since Let It Rain).

I remember earlier this year Wiley released a single and it peaked at like #90 on iTunes, and then a few months later Heatwave comes along, so you never know really.

The success of 'This Ain't A Love Song' completely baffled me when it made #1. I thought 'She Said' by Plan B was destined for #1 although I was heavily criticised in my early days of Buzzjack for praising Plan B - an artist who didn't seem popular here at the time - whilst thinking Scouting For Girls were rubbish.

I guess I was just ahead of my time. :(

r.i.p to Tinchy's solo career. He'll have to do a collbaration.

He's hardly a stranger to collaborations!!!

N-Dubz should feature him on their comeback single. Return the favour, since Number 1 really boosted their popularity.

This Ain't a Love Song getting to #1 didn't surprise me that much, since I heard it SO much on the radio beforehand. Not sure if I was expecting #1, but I was certainly expecting it to do well. I don't like the song much though. I wish if any of their songs got to #1, it would've been Heartbeat or Famous.

Didn't Tinchy release 'Help Me' a couple of weeks ago?

73 Johnny Cash/ God's Gonna Cut You Down Back because it's featured on the advert for Battlefield 3?

Yeah, that's why we're talking about him. It didn't even chart top 100.

It's a really good song aswell, although a bit of a What's My Name?/Black and Yellow clone.

I liked a few of Tinchy's singles but I was always more of a Chipmunk man...shame that he seems to have gone back underground now too since the 'Transition' era went up the pictures last year.
