October 10, 201212 yr Oh  Surely the 'seller' has to hand the spare tickets over to said website first though? Before they take any money from the 'buyer'?
October 10, 201212 yr Author Oh  Surely the 'seller' has to hand the spare tickets over to said website first though? Before they take any money from the 'buyer'? Nope, it won't happen like that. At the top of the web site there is a warning: Buyers of tickets for this event will be accompanied into the venue by the seller Sellers of tickets for this event please note that you will be required to accompany the buyer into the venue
October 10, 201212 yr Just checked. That particular website guarantees the tickets. Seller gets no money until buyer gets the tickets. At least that's something. Still mega money being charged though. It is really ticket touting isn't it?
October 10, 201212 yr Author I see it as ticket touting, I can imagine most of the sellers have no interest at all of seeing Robbie and won't be attending, probably just bought for money making. Edited October 10, 201212 yr by Sparkle
October 10, 201212 yr But as you say, if the seller doesn't turn up there's going to be a very upset 'buyer' who has promised his missus a Robbie Williams concert they can't get access to. And she'll have had her hair done and everything :(

October 10, 201212 yr But as long as people are willing to pay inflated prices the practice will continue. :( I just wonder how many of the tickets sold for these 3 concerts have been bought by actual Robbie fans. Maybe there should be a 'Robbie Test' to sit before you get to purchase a ticket. With a 95% pass mark ^_^
October 10, 201212 yr I guess if they are saying the seller gets no money until they meet the buyer, the sellers will turn up to collect their "hard earned" dosh Unless of course they've had a better offer for their 2 spare tix in the interim.... -_-
October 10, 201212 yr Author Alot of robbie fans didn't even get a code sent to them via e mail. I feel really sorry them, they didn't get the opportunity at all to purchase tickets. As for the Robbie test, I would no doubt fail  I wonder if the high prices that are being charged officially now will set the prices for the stadium/arena tours next year. I really hope not.
October 10, 201212 yr Author How much were the seating tickets again? The lower down ones???? They were either £137 or £147 each , can't remember exactly. I worked out if I bought them tickets, by the time I added on travel expenses etc it would of cost about £350 + for an evening out. My Keane tickets were under £40 for the same seats! Some Keane fans were complaining about those prices  Kind of puts it all in perspective doesn't it. Edited October 10, 201212 yr by Sparkle
October 10, 201212 yr I paid £132 for my recent 5 day holiday to the Cotswolds. Half board and all transport included. That puts those Robbie prices in perspective. <_< <_< <_<
October 10, 201212 yr Maybe I will. And I'll send the letter without a stamp. He can pay the excess :P
October 11, 201212 yr Sorry Mihhaoime butwe do not give out codes here, what are you going to do with them, sell them on Ebay How did you even know? That was exactly what I was going to do! That's why I bought an extra 4 tickets, just so people would believe me and give me their code. You are very smart! NOT! JEezaas!
October 11, 201212 yr Author Tensions can become very high when it comes to ticket sales, especially when it involves Robbie Williams tickets! :drama: I know, I was stressed and I didn't even get any in the end. They have to be the most stressful tickets ever to try and purchase in my opinion. It can be difficult to know exactly who are the true fans that want to attend Robbies concert from the ones that are just out there to make a profit on places like ebay etc. Apologies if I am wrong but a random first post asking for codes can sound a bit suspicious. Stadium prices are always cheaper though, it makes sense, the smaller the venues the more expensive the tickets, Robbie has to get his bit of profit you know ^_^

October 14, 201212 yr Author Stadium prices are always cheaper though, it makes sense, the smaller the venues the more expensive the tickets, Robbie has to get his bit of profit you know ^_^ The O2 in London has a seating capacity of 22,000. not really a small venue. The earlier gigs he done last month were alot cheaper and some of the venues very small.
