Hi everyone. :( I'm still not well. Been ill since last Tues. Coughing my guts up. Worried because woman I work beside has whooping cough and now a few of us who sit near her are sick. Just need to see what next week brings. Thought I was getting a bit better last night but as bad as ever today. As soon as I start to feel better I'll get back on posting duty. Just don't have the energy at the moment. I slept 15 hours out of 24 yesterday. Nearly as bad as Psycho Kitty.... :blink: Anyway, I'm off to bed again. Which is currently the couch in the living room so I don't wake everyone up with my coughing and spluttering. Speak soon. X

Oh Jups I do hope you feel better. Whooping cough is horrible, I had it for four months last year. The only good news is that after a week or so of being sick you feel much better, it's just the cough that doesn't go away but you'll still be able to do everything else.

 

Drink plenty of fluids (non alcoholic :drink: ) and gets lots of rest

No! :o Apparently it's very common in adults these days. Anyway, I'm still not feeling good. No energy and coughing up yucky stuff. I was forced to go to Tesco tonight. Wish I hadn't bothered. Felt sick and lightheaded. Was glad I had my trolley to grip onto....

Well, I've emerged from my bed for half an hour. Cough Cough Splutter Splutter. I've now had this *cold* for nearly 2 weeks. And my nose is still all bunged up. Maybe it's ebola virus? :unsure:

I feel like a washed out rag :nocheer: No energy. Haven't even been reading my book. Just staring at the walls. That's when I know I'm really sick.

Yes, know what you mean. Both of my parents had a cough recently that went on a long time, and I have heard of others round here with similar problems.

I blame the bizarre weather <_<

 

Anyway, enough for tonight. Going to make a cuppa and head back to bed.

You're not alone Jups. I've been sick since Thursday with sinusitis. Thankfully my dr gave me good drugs so I'm on the mend.

Seriously :blink: , there has been this peculiar virus going around Europe, I think you are one of the unlucky ones Jups...my friend & her hubby both got it, drained them completely of their energy, took about a month to clear up fully :angel:
