I still feel a bit knackered 5 days after returning back to Florida....takes me ages these days to recover from long solo road trips, since I'm not getting any younger....hard to believe I'll be 94...er, 49 in 2 months' time....

I can empathise with Jups and computer issues....had them from the 14th June through the 19th....thought it was the DSL modem here, but, turns out it was at the Verizon central office...faulty equipment that took care of the phone service here at the house, which, oddly enough, allowed the phones to operate properly here at the house, but, wiped out the connection from that port over to the internet service rack...once they replaced that faulty bit, no issues, so far...

Poor Jups....

Are you anywhere near the Everglades in Florida Biggy, I watch the Discovery chanel over here & they do a lot of animal documentaries, they often show the Everglades, they have some right monster snakes over there, I saw one that ate two farmers chickens , it then regurgitated them at high speed so it could get away from the people chasing it Yuk !!!!

 

They also had some monster alligators who ate dogs :puke2:

I'm a solid 4 hour drive north and west of the Everglades...it seems as I'm always hearing about those pythons that have been turned loose down that way by people who don't know any better...what's really wild is hearing of pythons eating alligators in the Everglades...not to mention everything else...

 

I'm always hearing as well of alligators eating dogs and cats, too...and the occasional attacks on people, that usually don't end well...

They did mention about people buying them as pets & then they get too big & they turn them loose , dead scary

 

We have no snakes or alligators in Oirland, except for the Zoo in Dublin

Just got back from a fantastic sun holiday in Albufeira in Portugal today. Had a great time but I am very sunburned. <_< Saw Rob at the Aviva last Friday and had to be at the airport for 7 the next morning. Gig was amazing though. How is everyone? B-)

Speaking of Broadband connection, there is a campaign going on here to speed up broadband connection because there are parts of the county where there are slow connection times.

Nowhere in the UK can possibly be slower than mine.... <_<
