Hey, about off topic posts. Last evening I had my phone very hot and feared it could explode in my hands. Do you know of similar things happening often?

In a similar vein, my new Sky HD box seems to get very hot. Anyone know if that's normal? I'm scared to leave it switched on in case it burns the house down :(

Gads....when will my road trip madness end? Now it looks like I'm making yet another long drive, this time to Cleveland, OH for a face-to-face interview over a job at the Cleveland Clinic......will know when they want me there for this interview tomorrow, I hope, using one of the dates I gave them....if I keep up with all this driving, my tookus will have callouses the size of Wales..... :blink: :blink:

Have you considered a job as a long distance lorry driver? You've got tons of experience :unsure:

All I'd need to get is a commercial driver's license for that.....as much as I'm trying me best to move away from the electrics, it keeps looking like I'm being pushed back into it, the harder I try to find a job as a pharmacy technician....

I'm still knackered from this last fiasco of a trip to Wyoming and back...4000 miles driven in 8 days.....these long car trips wouldn't be so bad if I had some company with me in the car, other than my cd's and the radio....

But, I'd have to stop more frequently along the way, and find pet-friendly hotels, as well as hauling food/water for the hound...I love dogs, mind you, but, I'd have to consider those issues as well...

Well, I am keeping the car maintained mechanically, as to avoid any issues with it seeing as how I'm doing all kinds of driving with it here of late...this past Monday, the 12th, the odometer turned 100,000 miles on my lil car that can....gads, in the 5 years now I've had this car, I've put on a little more than 75,000 miles..... :blink: :blink: :blink:

Just as well you can drive Biggy, can you imagine using public transport trying to get to all your interviews.

I did, at one time, have to rely on others to get around town, to/from work and whatnot....not fun, I tell you...

I've been in my wardrobes all weekend. I'm going to be brutal, I said. And I got a big poly bag all ready for my trip to the charity shop. After 2 days of taking things off hangers, my sum total in the poly bag is 2 old tops and a pair of boots <_<

 

I'm genetically unable to throw things out :( :( :(

I know that there are some things I am going to find difficult to throw out, sentimental attachment can be a bit of a pain when clearing things out.

Snap! I've had a massive clear out today, only I've thrown the clothes straight in the rubbish bin, it'll be

collected tomorrow so there's no going back :lol:

 

I don't have winter coat now :unsure: hope the weather doesn't turn.

 

I even threw out a Robbie t shirt :o
