I got new varifocal glasses yesterday. And I'm still struggling a lot. But Ive been told to persevere and things should start to fall into place. Hopefully very soon as I'm very blurry at times. Once my eyes settle a bit I'll reappear for full posting duties. Don't feel much like staring at a PC at the moment....

Does not sound right to me Jups, are you sure they are positioned correctly on your face as that is ultra important, if they sit too high or too low then you get the blurred vision effect. I wear them all the time & they are brill !!!, I hd to get new frames because the old ones had gotten loose & the glasses were dropping down & giving me problems with the vision. I would go back to the optician & explain what is happening because they should not be causing you any problem.

@ Ossy, why is Australia either very wet or very hot? Do you never get 'meh' weather? Btw, my mum has a friend who lives in Plumpton(sp?) near Sydney. She wants to know if that area is affected by the fires. I said I'd ask you although I realise you're hundreds and hundreds of miles north. Australia is Australia to Mother Jupiter.....

Very wet here atm lots of flooding around but luckily no where close to where I live.

Fires were mainly in Victoria and Tasmania. Long way south of Plumpton/Sydney so your mums friend would be fine, though they probably are getting some rain now :P

We don't do boring meh weather :(

 Good point. Go back to the opticians Jups.

I think it's still too soon. People at my work say it took about 2 weeks before their eyes adjusted. Don't get me wrong, my glasses are fine when I look straight ahead, fine when I'm looking at my PC, fine when I read. It's when I change direction by looking up, looking down, look sideways that there's a momentary blurriness until my eyes re-focus. It's rather disconcerting :(

Hope your eyes get sorted out soon, Jups...

As I sit here at the library eat of Hershey, Pennsylvania, it's lightly snowing....they say anywhere from a dusting to an inch will fall by the time it decides to stop overnight tonight...

I think I've to get snow tomorrow

PS, did we ever find out how to remove the Xmas smiley hats?

They seem to be hatless. At last. :cheer:

Maybe we should suggest little Easter Bonnets for them

Well, he seems to wear pink quite a lot

I don't wear pink -_- Or yellow. Or orange. Or brown. :P

Hmmmmm

I wear a lot of purple, red and black :D

I'm obviously quite regal....

I imagine you to wear a lot of summery, light, girly colours.

I prefer rich, dark, wintery colours.

Oh and I like green as well. Dark/emerald green. Not lime/pastel/mint greens.

And blue. Dark/royal blue. Not sky/light/pastel blue.

I sense a theme developing

I'm quite boring, tend to wear lots of blue, light or dark.

Greys, browns, beiges?

Yip, dull
