70k is really good, The Promise did 77k on its first week and that was #1. Just hoping it doesn't bomb too fast.

I'm not overly disappointed with the peak (as long as the sales were strong - I've not looked yet! :P). I'm more disappointed that it looks to fall straight out of the top ten, and the album is unlikely to do major things :(

After day one at work, I'm not as optimistic but I didn't really have a busy spot on the till today with the torrential rain!

The main thing we all wanted out of this is the tour! (and pray for something new :kink: next year)

To be honest, I don't think Cheryl would be up for a permanent re-union - just a hunch I have.
I am having a moment. Posted my last post in the wrong thread  Oh well!

She can always do a Robbie/Take That and release solo stuff between Girls Aloud albums. That's what I hope she/they does/do.

I don't get all this 'are they, aren't they' as I think it's quite evident this is the end, as much as it pains me to say so. I'm sure the girls all agreed that this is the case, if not then it was certainly extremely brazen of Cheryl to essentially confirm it in her book. I guess they're against an outright "THIS IS THE END" statement to leave the door open for projects later on but I don't see any happening in the near future. I'd love to be proven with the release of a new studio album next year so let's wait and see, just leave your high hopes behind and count anything else as a bonus.

#15 and #51 on Itunes right now, it's probably gonna drop out of the top10 this week officialy :(
It looks likely to end up dropping to number 12 or 13 on sunday which is disappointing.
I am so so disappointed by its midweek position of number 14, its a big drop and i hope it falls no further, huge shame as i happen to love the song and feel it deserves better.
Offically number 14, which is disappointing, their biggest drop out of the top 10 ever for them.

People can say what they like about big hype, radio interviews etc, but what can be expected when you only bother to do two performances of a song, it is gonna have a mega drop.

Not far off 25,000 sales for last week for something new bringing its grand total to almost 100,000. The trick now though is for the song to steady up a bit and not drop a brick to build up the same amount of sales again.

Really disappointed with its performance :(

It geniunely is one of my favourite singles of them, and airplay isn't too bad, I don't get why the public don't get it.

I think its because of their lack of promotion (for the single itself.) The reunion hype wasn't enough. They needed to do the rounds (Loose Women, This Morning, Alan Carr, Celeb Juice etc) to draw in the casual buyers. I hope they put more effort into BCYLM but I doubt they will.
They indeed needed/need more promotion and i am sure they would have got on most shows like loose women etc to perform had they wanted it. Maybe they are a little restricted with Kimberley s commitment to strictly come dancing. I am worried for beautiful cause you love me as it will have no big performances as a promotional tool and i think this track could end their run of top 20 hits.
