Katy Perry has co wrote the Song Passenger along with diplo and Sia. It is romoured that passenger is a prism reject

well, there is no excitement definitely...this is the first era which I am not really into it...I was so excited about Work Bitch, but she killed it with not being able to promote it or performing anywhere.

 

Also, what are your predictions for 1st week sales. I believe 150k is on lock considering no hype and no promo. I mean not even GaGa can't open with more than 250k after a billion of performances and promotions.

I say 200k.

And the fact that stans of our caliber, who always stay positive and supportive even in the darkest of hours, are not feeling the era or are not as enthusiastic cause everything surrounding it seems dead really says something, doesn't it?

 

At this point I am really hoping for the album to include very good music I can really enjoy. I might be pleasently surprised with the music, hopefully (see the Blackout era).

If you'd have told me a few months ago I'd be anticipating Britney's album more than Gaga's or Katy's I'd have laughed at you...

Definitely still excited for the album, but this has all just been so anti-climatic.

 

No promo, no performances, the fun of being a Britney fan is not there. Its all about Vegas.

I just think that FF managed to move 280k in its first week, in March.

 

Britney has enough hardcore fans to break the 200k wall during the 4th quarter. I could be wrong, but she will promo for it the week before and the week of release.

I think the thing is there is such a lack of knowledge about the album... telling us "it's really personal, I went through a break up and channelled that", "there's party songs there" isn't really a lot to go by.

 

Like I'm not expecting to analyse every song, but for example, would it kill her to share some light into things? It's not exposing yourself too much, and it really creates a human persona, instead of the whole "you'll have to wait and see" bull shit she spewed, which just suggested to me she had no idea about the album herself. I'm really into the music, as always with Britney, but there's just no excitement for me because I don't know what to expect, but it's not even mysterious, it's just like... "mmh okay, Britney drops her new album in 9 days".

 

It's probably down to the lack of promo to be honest.
