February 17, 201312 yr Finally caught up with episodes 1 and 2, really enjoyed them! When Mollie arrived outside Frankie's room with the sofa.

February 17, 201312 yr http://thesaturdaysaremyreligion.tumblr.co...tting-up-mollie Cute clip from a new episode. Frankie trys to set up Mollie with Calvin from the juniours It's quite clearly one of the scripted bits, shame they keep trying to push this storyline with Mollie - it makes her look soooo desperate!
February 17, 201312 yr It's quite clearly one of the scripted bits, shame they keep trying to push this storyline with Mollie - it makes her look soooo desperate! It's one of these scripted moments, sadly, yes. And, exactly! When she's really not! She has said a few times in her recent interviews that she's not looking for a guy AT ALL.
February 17, 201312 yr It's obviously scripted but Mollie and Calvin must be good at acting because that scene just screamed genuine awkwardness to me.
February 17, 201312 yr Well considering they are pretending they haven't met before when they have, it's very strange.
February 24, 201312 yr Apparently this has been moved from a Sunday to a Monday now, probably due to the abysmal ratings. *generic frustrated comment about no promotion and lazy attitude*

February 25, 201312 yr Yeah, the show is quite a hit for E! UK. They pretty much double the numbers of the second most watched program, aside from the fact that reruns do really well too. Someone posted this on Popjustice: E! w/e 17 Feb 2013 000's 1 CHASING THE SATURDAYS (SUN 2200) 107 2 KARDASHIANS (SUN 1700) 54 3 ICE LOVES COCO (SUN 2230) 47 4 CHASING THE SATURDAYS (TUE 2230) 45 5 GRAMMY AWARDS (SAT 2300) 43 6 CHASING THE SATURDAYS (TUE 2200) 43 7 CHASING THE SATURDAYS (SUN 1800) 42 8 KARDASHIANS (THU 2102) 40 9 GRAMMY AWARDS (SUN 2100) 38 10 KARDASHIANS (SUN 1500) I wonder if this success in their mother land will be enough to keep the show alive at least one more season. February 25, 201312 yr I don't think there'd be much point in a second season for the UK only seeing as the whole point of the show was supposed to be about them cracking America. It's kind of hilarious how 95% of the show has been family/personal problems and only 5% music (when they were recording Not Giving Up On Love and the club performances). No wonder the show is flopping. I bet people tuned in to the first episode thinking "this might actually be interesting", saw the rubbish about Vanessa's wardrobe and Frankie's crying and thought "nah f*** this" and never tuned in again.
February 25, 201312 yr They do seem to be addressing this though, showing parts of the Chasing Lights performance for their label. It could be a case of too little too late though.
February 25, 201312 yr Author It would have been far more successful had they remained in the US and promoted What About Us/ Sending it to radio much earlier!
February 26, 201312 yr It would have been far more successful had they remained in the US and promoted What About Us/ Sending it to radio much earlier! Or sending it to the radio at all...it's supposed to go to adds on March.
