Thank god for that, Union J absolutely blew them out of the water! That Save Me performance, wow. Best performance by a group this year so far, by quite some way!
LOL why did they ask Louis first? Don't they usually ask the other judges first?
Union J would probably walk it next week, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the boys and Chris are bottom 2 next week.
Union J should not of been in the Bottom 2. Oh well, Christopher and Rylan in the Final 6.
Great to see Alicia Keys being on next week! :D Would absolutely LOVE if she could somehow surprise everyone and beat Girls Aloud and Olly Murs to #01.

Hilarious how they tried to cause extra drama by making Louis pick first

Is it me or does Dermot always look awkward when talking to the judges lately?

I think UJ's performance there was the best by anyone all series, personally.

Definitely up there. I'd only compare it to their Bleeding Love and Sweet Dreams performances #loooooooooning

I'd stick Love Story in there instead of Bleeding Love personally, but yes, I concur.

Didn't it happen last year, or maybe 2010 where one judge had two acts in the bottom 2 and they refused to vote, so it automatically meant they lost their vote. There seemed to be a bit of uproar over the decision at the time - just can't rememeber which series it was.

Doesn't Dermot look like that all the time? :D

Anyways, District 3 were incredibly inconsistant with their weekly performances so the better group definitely stayed. All the teenage girls/gays who had been voting for District 3 will now most likely start voting for Union J so their votes will probably double next week.

They mentioned just now on Xtra Factor that Rylan said he would last until week 7 (next week) and when they picked Nicole up on his comment, she went very coy in a suspicious "what you getting at?" kind of way. So, Rylan to be kicked out of the competition next week? Has this been decided already?

The thing is who is going to be in next weeks bottom 2? I'll be gobsmacked if Union J got there. Jahmene and Christopher are reportedly getting the most votes (HILARIOUS!!! :manson: ) so does that mean next weeks bottom 2 will be Rylan Vs James?

Yes, I'm reading too much into it[/analyst] :D

It was a year when Cheryl was a judge and they came to her second so she refused to vote then, and said she wanted to vote last to take it to deadlock. Despite being told about 5 times she was going to lose her right to vote, refused still, so they did it to the majority of three.

It also happened in series 4 in the first live show when Sharon had two acts in the bottom 2. Went to majority, I don't even know if they came to her last either. I just know she refused to vote.

I'm thinking pretty much the exact thing. It will be Rylan vs Ella/James. Unless of course Union J don't really get the rebound vote and the others are still way in front of them, in which case it'll be Rylan/UJ. Whatever happens i think Rylan is a dead cert to go next week. Chris can add Rylan's multiple wigs to his mantlepiece after too.

Both guest performances were ace! They're both top three in my personal chart, so I'd say it's the best week so far for the guests :D

I'm shocked at the bottom two, both were good last night, Union J have the edge though, so I'm glad they stayed. District3 are just so personality-void though, so apart from Christopher/Rylan (unlikely for a few more weeks), they were the worst act left. I preferred their sing-off though, Jaymi was doing his best Jahméne personality impression was uncomfortable. I'm surprised the armywife vote didn't get them through!
