Funny to say "stop yelling at me grandma", when Trump's whole campaign is made up of yelling and name calling.

Her frustrations are understandable. She's dealing with a seriously unintelligent nation.

Hmm, no she's getting frustrated because she thought that this presidential race against Trump was going to be an easy contest for her, like she has some divine right to be the president but of course it's not going that way at all and now she's getting desperate, it's really quite amusing and tragic to watch at the same time.

She's right. Some bone idle people out there who are let's face it thick as two planks voting dor an orange bufoon who has no business being anywhere near the WH. He hasn't even revealed his tax returns, his real wealth - and boastef about paying ZERO tax beforr!! Thie ego maniacal charlitan deserves nothing but 1 or 3 voting percentages from fellow crazies. But here we are. This is the country that elected Bush twice afterall.
IT IS TRAGIC. A homophobic racist backed by hate groups has a chance at taking this country back 20 years on the basis that he's an outsider. When in reality he's just as corrupt, if not more so, then the politicians he antagonizes.

It's funny seeing people say she's acting like she's entitled to be President, when it's Trump who's the one acting entitled. Clinton has worked decades in government, not to mention her high academic achievement. Trump is an incurious and unintelligent bogan who was born with a platinum spoon in his mouth, who pretends like he's an outsider and the voice of the commoner, and that he deserves to be President despite no political experience or respect for the office. I'm getting really tired of many white people in my country and their constant backing of the Republican Party and racial stereotypes, and their lack of empathy for any minority. I say this as a 100% white person also, and no, it's not all white people, but it's a very large portion, and enough to possible give the Deplorable Cheeto the keys to the White House.

Anyone going to watch the first debate live in the early hours of Tuesday here in the UK? I certainly am, from 2am live on Sky News and the BBC News Channel.
He'd be a breath of fresh air, a President who wasn't in the pocket of the Establishment. Despite having businesses and a fortune he'll be his own man and actually get things done. America and the world needs him.

shut the f*** up

So, after a few days of Clinton climbing again/sitting around 60%, this afternoon the 538 polls only model has moved to pretty much a 50/50 race... http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/

I hate to use the word, but the ''momentum'' is clearly moving towards Trump pretty much unabated now, and this debate is surely going to push him into an actual LEAD.

It's fine, two years down the line when the Trump supporters realise that he's just as bad as everyone else, it'll be too late as everywhere except for Russia and North Korea will despise the US and we'll all be laughing our arses off at how the "greatest country in the world" isn't actually that great at all.

Trump definitely has the advantage in this debate - all he needs to do in the debate is to prove that he's not Hitler in 90 minutes and it'll be seen as a victory for him. It seems as if the strategy Clinton's going to try in the debate is to bait Trump until he says something outlandish that will tar him in the minds of voters up until November.

I'm not too sure if I can put much trust in the 538 predictor - a 7% swing to Trump the day before the debate seems a little bit too sudden to my mind. It will be interesting to see what happens with the debates, I don't think the debates will change many people's mind about their preferred candidate, but a strong performance by their preferred one could lead to people who had previously been quiet about their pick being a little bit more upfront about who they want to win.

And what do we think the ratings will be like? The record viewing figures for a US debate is 80 million for Carter/Reagan - do we think that total will be smashed tonight?

God, no way I could watch this. I couldn't sit through it if it were anything less than a clear win for Hilary.
Id guess maybe 74 million, there seems to be various factors which should combine to make it for bigger than usual but with it being against football I expect the all time record is out of reach.

Didn't watch live in the end but watching it in full now on Sky News. My verdict later.

Yes, easily. So many bars, restaurants, cinemas, theatres and other public places were showing it live.

Watched about 90 minutes of the debate. It felt like a Clinton victory. She and the moderator hammered him on releasing his tax returns and his support of birtherism in particular, although he seemed to get the upper hand when talking about trade deals. Whether the debate will make a substantial difference to the polling numbers remains to be seen, I'll be interested to see which soundbites from the debate begin circulating in the next few days (I could't pick any out, although I was quite tired by the time I switched out).

I and most others can't understand why he won't release the damned tax returns! Must be something in them. Scored an own goal by saying his lawyer won't let him release them. So WHY then?
LMAO SHE SCHOOLED THAT BITCH.
