ARGH at 'I'm Yours', guess 'Set Fire To The Rain' will never overtake it as the highest selling non-top 10 hit at this rate :(

Does Jason Mraz write songs that are specifically public domain? Very bland artist...just the Yankee prat with a guitar.

What is 140?

By the way, 140 is UK garage, grime, dubstep, etc. It's the tempo of the song (although not all 140 songs are exactly 140 bpm, at the moment most of them are about 138-145 bpm). One of my favourite clubs plays 140 music, which is why I was wondering how many of them got to #1.

You mention Louder and not Hot Right Now?

140 is a number of beats per minute in a song.

Hot Right Now is drum & bass, so it'll be about 160-180 bpm. Feel the Love is also drum & bass. These are the ONLY two #1s of that genre so far I believe, so 2012 is quite a special year in that respect.

BPM (Beats per Minute), I'm guessing? Is 'On the Floor' not another 140, or is it a bit under?

Most of the dance-pop songs in the charts at the moment are about 110-130 bpm. On the Floor is definitely very fast though, so probably at the upper end of that range, so about 130 bpm.

Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You  #90

Already? fackin ell it's not even the end of November yet :drama:

I'm jealous of Mariah fans. It must be nice knowing she's going to get a chart hit every year for a loooong time.

Some of the shops are playing Christmas songs!

I think it was in the top 10 last year around November or early December.

It got discounted last year though I think. I wonder if they'll discount the Christmas songs again this year.

Yeah they might.

I miss the days when it was only Christmas related songs battling for the xmas #1.

Mistletoe by Justin Bieber should've been Christmas #1 last year imo.

Hey, I'm a bigger fan than Joseph could ever hope to be!

(Although I find 'Mistletoe' to be just OK)

Adele back up to #11 phew. McFly are still clinging onto the top 10 for dear life though.

100. Sun - Two Door Cinema Club

Interesting that this is doing relatively well when The Vaccines did absolutely nothing with 'I Always Knew'. 'Sun' isn't one of my favourites off TDCC's new album but nonetheless pleased to see it in the top 100 especially after 'Sleep Alone' barely got there itself. Criminal that they're still yet to have a single top 40 hit though.

No it shouldn't have

I wanted 'Oh Santa' to be Christmas #1 for Mariah but unfortunately it didn't take off and was completely overshadowed by 'AIWFCIY' :(
