The first movie really got me thinking why it's such a big deal. However catching fire is mind-blowing, loved it

Yeah, they are shooting both films back to back but I doubt it's already finished. Plus there's a thing called editing and montage. Be glad they aren't doing a 1.5 year wait like between The Hunger Games and Catching Fire.

No you're right. I'd read some incorrect information about them finishing filming it several months ago, but they didn't actually start until September. Still, a year between is excessive, as the film will be finished by the time Part 1 comes out. A 6 month gap would have been sufficient.

I'm really looking forward to watching this again. The first film has become more enjoyable every time I've seen it, and I'm on my 6th viewing now, so I hope Catching Fire holds up just as well.

I'm so glad I've not read the books. I think I'm getting much more enjoyment out of the films without knowing what is coming next. Also, it means I genuinely don't know which characters may die, which adds even more tension for me.

I watched the 2 hour documentary on the blu ray of the first movie last night. Wow. They put a lot of love into making that happen, and it was really nice to hear these experienced, well respected actors talking about Jennifer the way they do. They genuinely respect her talent.

Finally saw this tonight! Can't add anything more than what has already been said, it was fantastic. So gripping and emotional.

Just finished this cuz couldn't sleep.

Surprised how good it was. The first one was good but too much of a action for teens kinda thing. This one is much deeper and sombre.

Love sure is blind. And deaf. And dumb.

Just finished watching this and I thought it was outstanding. They've done a great job with representing the books, though it has been a while since I've read them!
I haven't read the books but I watched this one last night and though I thought it was very well done once again I did feel it was a little too similar to the first film in terms of it's structure. That said the final scene nicely turns things on its head (even if a little predicatble) and should set up the last two to be a bit more progressive.
