Katie has confirmed on her Facebook page that her brand new single 'Only You' will be released on Sunday 9th December!

 

I'm excited to announce that my new single 'Only You' will be released on December 9th :D That's in exactly 2weeks time - Put the date in your diaries! :P

 

Over the past few weeks Katie has done the artwork for the single as well as getting her fans to send in pictures to be used in the lyric video for the song!

Can't wait to hear it after the amazing 'Sweet Sweet Melody' and Paradise EP!

For the people who are signed up to Katie's mailing list, she has sent us a special link to hear the song before it becomes available on iTunes tonight!!

 

It is absolutely incredible, it starts off acoustic based and the production builds throughout. And the vocals are just brilliant! Beautiful song :wub: I won't post the link until midnight as that is when it will be made public.

 

Katie is doing a webchat tonight from 11.30pm for the countdown to the iTunes release and at midnight the lyric video will go live on YouTube featuring images sent in by fans along with the iTunes release!

There won't be any promotion as far as I know (other than on social network sites etc), but I think Katie said about coming up for ideas for a music video so hopefully we will get a music video! Loved the video for 'Sweet Sweet Melody'! :wub:

 

'Only You' isn't on iTunes just yet, but Katie is getting is sorted as soon as she can :D

It is just incredible!! It feels so anthemic, especially as it reaches the last chorus! Can't wait to see how high it can get on iTunes when it gets sorted!

For the Bieber fans out there (Joseph :kink:), Katie and Kate McGill have uploaded a cover of 'Beauty and the Beat'! It's amazing, much better than the original! :kink:

Only You is now available on iTunes, so we can see how much she progresses up the Singer/Songwriter chart and even the main chart!

Katie is already #54 on iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart! :cheer:

 

Also, 'Paradise' EP was still top 200 on the Singer/Songwriter albums yesterday, but she seems to have just slipped out. Hopefully 'Only You' will help it get back in again!
