I think every year we have the same issues about the BBC and how much they actually want to host Eurovision. Look at 2012 with the Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics. People flocked from all over the world to the UK for those events and was considered a great way to "help the UK economy".

So, why shudder at the prospect of hosting Eurovision in the UK again? Get people from all over Europe into the UK to "help the UK economy" again. :D

After Sweden got it spot on in 2012 with 'Euphoria', I think the future of Eurovision will continue to be either Sweden (representing the Western world) or the continued success of Eastern Europe doing well each year. Without hearing any of this years entries, it's practically a foregone conclusion that Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Turkey will more than likely do well.

Anyways, if it's LeAnne Mitchell who ends up representing us then I'll just support whatever my fave entry is. Will probably be Sweden again going off the last couple of years. :D

Bit of a tough ask as Turkey aren't in it this year!

The BBC's Eurovision Facebook and Twitter pages have both become active again today! Could some news be coming very soon? :D
After seeing Kimberleys performance at the NTA's I hope it isn't her..
Kempe's denied that the songs he's done for Kimberley will be going to Eurovision. And THANK CHRIST.
Don't panic everyone, we're going to win anyway!

Imagine if we did actually win, I bet whoever made that will be happy! :D

I'm hoping for The Saturdays again this year - What About Us sounds like a winning song! Also, it's doing well in America and being released in Europe this March.

It's really not doing that well in America

Currently trolling @bbceurovision with fake rumours to try and force something out of them...

Oh hello AMELIA LILY rumours. Can you imagine how good this could be?! It does fit as well... Her album is due late April/early May, and she is currently on tour in Russia with Dima Bilan and Blue!

Really?! I think that would be pretty good actually, although I expect her X Factor contract would stipulate that she can't do something for another channel.

I've also heard Heather Small, but I think they were joking. Correction, I HOPE they were joking.

Never stopped Andy Abraham! Unfortunately.

One has to think, why would they hold the album back so long and why on earth would she be supporting Blue otherwise? I so want this to be true but I don't want to get too excited as part of me is still expecting it to be Adam Ant or Dexy's that ends up being our entry :(
Withdrawal a possibility? I can see the BBC pulling that off and this being an excuse to excite the fans.

Seeing as the deadlines for withdrawals has passed and that would incurr a fine I think not. Not to mention that it's still a huge ratings success for them.

Yeah considering for not much cost on the bbc's part it gets them 5-8million viewers on a saturday night prime time, they aren't going to say no to it.

Michelle Gayle was robbed; she had a much better Eurovision tailored song!

It was The Revelations that had the best song in 2008!
