Posted December 6, 201212 yr Emeli has revealed today that the music video for her next single 'Clown' from her album 'Our Version of Events' will be released at midnight tonight! It's always been one of my favourites from the album (especially after Carolynne sung it on the X Factor) and I'm very glad it has become a single!! The official impact date is the 23rd December. Can't wait to see the video and hopefully she performs this on X Factor at the weekend! zFzrsBIT_Uw

I'm honestly glad she's releasing this just so she doesn't have an excuse to perform 'Read All About It (Part. III)' on X Factor.

I'm not sure it'll get much TV airplay, but it's pretty enough and I'm glad this is getting a single release. I really thought they'd release the upbeat version of "Breaking The Law" as the closing single, maybe the X Factor audition performance of it changed their minds. I'm happy for her to move on to the next album (she teased a release of a new EP on Twitter today) but I love this album so much I want her to release everything - "Maybe" in particular.

December 7, 201212 yr Yes! My favourite song from the album as well! :wub: It's her best song (not counting featured appearances) since Heaven for me.
December 8, 201212 yr I think releasing this could be a mistake, it's probably my least favourite from the album and this is coming from a huge Emeli fan. Agree that Maybe would have been a better choice, it's fantastic.
