Yes, as shocked as you may be right now, my #1 single in terms of chart performance is Tulisa's Young. This was always going to be a massive hit, i've pratically grown up listening to N-Dubz (and i turned out alright!), so when T decided to do it solo, with this summer slammer i was in cheap, tacky, dancefloor heaven. The corny lyrics, the plagirised beat, the hot video and Tulisa's undeniably ndublet voice add to the charm of this whimsical three minutes of unadultered pleasure. I was singing along to Young for the good part of 6 months, and it managed to top the chart for one of those, hanging around in the top 10 for the other half. My anthem of the year, and i'm not ashamed to admit it. Follow up singles didn't perform as well officially, but this has been a massive year for Tulisa, and the final result was a fun, pop record that will hopefully stand the test of time for me. Anyway, bring on the return of N-Dubz very soon (stay to the left peeps). Forgive me, I found love in this hopeless song.
