oh, Brit and Will fell :(

airplay and streaming is growing very fast, final peak will be in January surely.

It will probably peak in February or March. Most songs in the US take 3+ months to peak I think.

I think Ho Hey will be the next #1 after Bruno's run is finished.

Top ten hit from Sweden imminent! :o Anybody know what the last was?
** 77 Maroon 5 - Daylight (NEW)

IT'S COMING.

Woo for Ed getting in the top 20 and "Little Things" climbing back up. I don't like Mariah's song but I guess it's also good for it to have a new peak given it's such a classic.

It's funny because Swedish writers and producers play a massive role in American pop music and could probably claim to be involved in a huge number of Hot 100 hits in the last ten years. Max Martin, RedOne, Johan Aberg, etc. But the last credited Swede on a Billboard Hot 100 top 10?

I know Avicii, September, the A*Teens, Basshunter, etc. all made appearances but not the top 10. I'm going to guess either Robyn or Eagle-Eye Cherry circa 1997? I hope I'm wrong.

Mariah coming for your faves *.* I'd love for her to finally get a top ten hit with this, and it's be her first since "Obsessed" in July 2009 if I remember right?! :o

Off the top of my head, I'm pretty certain Cascada and DHT would've got top 10 hits in the mid-00s there. I know they're not Swedish, but their music is pretty similar.

Thrift Shop is #4 on the streaming chart this week. It looks more and more like a future US #1. I really hope it happens, because they haven't had a hip hop song at #1 since Black and Yellow, about 20 months ago.

I really hope "Oath" re-enters the chart. The song is too good to peak at #99. :(

probably the last swedish act to reach the billboard Hot 100 top 10 is Robyn back in 1997 with 'Show me love'..

however the most succesful swedish act of all time on the Billboard Hot 100 is Roxette with 4 number 1's while Abba and Ace of Base only scored one each....

The Cardigans' Lovefool was also around 1996-7 but of course famously didn't chart on the Hot 100 (and it would have made #1) since it wasn't released as a CD single.

Yeah there were a handful of Hot 100 top 10 hits by continental acts... DHT (Belgian), Cascada (German), DJ Sammy (Spanish).

Today it's all complicated by "featured" artists -- e.g., Afrojack's credit as a featured artist on Pitbull's Give Me Everything gives The Netherlands a Hot 100 #1. Should we give the UK credit for Lauren Bennett's 11 words on Party Rock Anthem?? :P :)

So it didn't chart , anyway, it was before Robyn's Show me love....
