Posted December 16, 201212 yr http://www.sporcle.com/games/Thermometer1/...mas-number-ones Follow the link to play the quiz. The year will come up on screen and you must guess what song got the Christmas #1 in that year. To make it more challenging the songs do not have the performer, except the three Do They Know It's Christmases that have what Band Aid performed them in brackets. I got 26 out of 60, so yeah it is very hard - but since playing I have changed the timer from 10 to 15 minutes so you may have a good chance of beating my score
December 16, 201212 yr 34 out of 60: 1 from the 50's 1 from the 60's 2 from the 70's 8 from the 80's 10 from the 90's 10 from the 00's 2 from the 10's Rather pleased
December 16, 201212 yr Only 22 :drama:, mainly due to my own ineptitude with dates (and words, mistook Slade and Shakin' Stevens for each other, why did they have to be so similar)
December 16, 201212 yr 46 for me, i know them all from 1972 onwards then knew the beatles got 3 in a row 1963-65 and then after a year out 1967 as well and then Tom Jones was in between. I worked out a few 50s answers because i knew in 1955 the no1 was xmas alphabet, Marys Boy Child was xmas no1 twice once in the 50s for Harry Belafonte and then obv the 1952 xmas no1 was the first ever no1 by Al Martino!!
December 16, 201212 yr I got 51 out of 60, which I was a bit annoyed about (felt I could have done better) but it's the joint highest score on the thread so far, so yay :) I knew them all from 1971 onwards and a couple of 60s ones...I think I got every single 50s one wrong apart from 1952 though :P
