anyways, I´ve look at wikipedia´s info, and they were not as great seller as I thought: I mean, first two albums only gold in the UK? I thought they were huge!

"Dog Man Star;" 1994; No. 35; 36,000

"Coming Up;" 1997; No. 17; 40,000

"Head Music;" 1999; No. 25; 26,000

 

The band also released the compilation "Sci Fi Lullabies" in 1997, and while it never charted, it has sold 19,000 in the U.S.

i know that their first album in UK sold 345 000 so should be platinum

dog man star is close to 300 000 so their albums was rather undercerifed than not great seller

thanks. i found that in Israel "Suede" and "Coming Up" was certifed gold each sold 20 000 (i dont have actual numbers)

Coming Up is the best seller in the Uk.

Got sales figures for three of their albums, but only for a certain year.

 

The first album "Suede" sold over 176,000 in 1993

Coming up: sold over 390,000 (combined 1996+1997 figures)

Headmusic sold 116,474 in 1999

 

I also got their Suede's total figures for 4 years:

(all their albums combined in one year)

 

1993: over 176,000

1994: over 173,000

1996: over 210,000

1997: over 220,000

So its possible that Coming Up sold in UK over 500 000? (i found that in article from 1999)
