Sorry if this has been posted, i thougth it might be abit overlooked in the big album threads but apparently 'Hurt' is an upcoming single according to someone on the popjustice forums who got an email from her webby :D great news i say, wheter this means next or after candyman i've no idea, but its brilliant i think :D

"MTV.com has announced that the second single off Back to Basics will be "Candyman"[2]. However, it is rumored that RCA and Aguilera have changed their minds and the second single is going to be the power ballad "Hurt" off of disc 2."

 

I think Christina wants Candyman and RCA want Hurt...could be the best double A side ever :P

 

Yep it's great for a single, but I'd say it should be the 3rd single, however this is great news + thanks for posting it :D

'Hurt' should be second, like the second single from Stripped was a ballad and it sent album sales soaring. It'll do the same here, I'm praying 'Hurt' is second. :wub:

I agree with you - she should follow a similar pattern to Stripped to ensure that this album does amazingly too. :)

Hurt needs to be second, i havent really warmed to candyman yet.

i LOVE 'Hurt' but i would much prefer' Candyman' as the second single to show off the different sides to album... 'Hurt' would be a great 3rd single and would still do great for the album!! :wub:

I got a bulletin on myspace from the official Christina myspace ppl :P and it said something like "upcoming single Hurt" has been added to the music player on her myspace profile. :)

so it likes like 'Hurt' is the next then.... :o not a bad choice cause its my fave song on the album woo!! BUT still would of preferred 'Candyman'... her performance of it on the MTV US Special was AMAZING, she hit EVERY note!! :wub:

So long as Candyman, Hurt, Slow Down Baby and Understand all get released I don't care which order

I'm pleased that my fav track from the album "Hurt" will be the next single.

 

Although I could imagine Candyman doing a "Hey Ya" if released over the Xmas holiday period & hang around the charts.

well from early reports christina wanted this as 2nd or 3rd single so who knows whats gonna happen, i dont believe any of these reports... there was been sooo many!! :rolleyes: im waiting for OFFICIAL news, like filming the video confirmation, from christinas mouth etc...
