Such a shame Ireland, Aimee was fantastic! Ryan will be staying in the semi-final.
Typical Ireland... Have gold in your hands, and send some cheap thing instead
Hmm...it's a nice enough song but very 2nd rate Danny Saucedo. Joy! Ireland *might* qualify with this, Malta's similar but worse last two entries either did or very nearly did!

Here is the studio version. It sounds a lot better than the live performance, but still one of the worst songs selected so far this year I think. :( Aimee on the other hand would've been in my top 3!

I cant see it qualifying, its nothing stand out about it, it needs serious serious production to stand any chance at all of going through.
Third year in a row the act I vote for gets through :D
OK so Mattias is to blame for this.

Ha, if you're gonna take me down you better take Sabrewulf down with me!

I haven't been able to fully support an Irish entry since, um, I can't remember...

1996?

I honestly feel like that song could do well. And it was also my favourite as a song overall.

That can be arranged.

I wouldn't dare if I was you, I've got Pirate Assassins on call.

Seriously though, I don't see anything about "Only Love Survives" that can't be improved upon.

I do really like Crashing Down and it was my close second choice (There was a point where I almost voted for it instead of Ryan) but I'm just not convinced it wouldn't get completely lost at Eurovision. I don't think it was that memorable either...lovely in the moment and then it's gone.

In another way though I'm just glad Fire didn't win.

Not that it's hard, because Ireland have had the most terminally awful Eurovision taste of late, but that's actually a surprisingly good entry from them. Which is good, as nice as Aimee sounded (and I would be saying the same thing about her), it was a little plain.

Totally generic and will likely bomb but it's not a national embarassment for the Irish this time. Anything other than Jedward/turkeys would've been cool really but I just had to make that point.

Ireland need to pretty weak entries in semi 1 to qualify, i just cant see this qualifying, but then again when it comes to eurovision i never pick the winners so i could be completly wrong

Problem is we all KNOW this is the final version of the song.
