I was just watching Lynsey's death and I forgot how much it impacted me and how strong it was.

 

It's easily in my top 3 most heartbreaking deaths on Hollyoaks along with Max and Carmel.

 

It also pisses me off how under appreciated the bullying storyline was in Hollyoaks with the limited awards.

Would have been better if he didn't actually murder anyone. It also would have been better if he could actually act.

Just as I was having hope with Hollyoaks (because it's actually been very good the last month) I see that Freddie & Mercedes are about to begin an affair, it's just frustrating to see the entire Lindsey and Freddie build up has leaded to this. I actually think Lindsey is ten times better than all the material provided and why does Mercedes have to sleep with anything? Her return has been incredibly disappointing and imo I think a death / incredible exit is necessary for her now.

 

The entire show needs a major overhaul.

 

Freddie, Joe, Scott, John Paul, Ziggy, Tegan, Lockie.

 

I think they need to bring back original characters also with Jacqui and maybe bring Mitzeee back to support Maxine as well as writing John Paul with the return of Craig. I wouldn't mind the return of Brendan for a couple of episode if it meant writing out Ste.

 

I would also try and bring back Cheryl Brady (new owner of Dog?), Carl Costello, Warren Fox, Louise (maybe it could be found out that she never actually died)

Cheryl :wub: I'd love her to come back. Brendan can stay gone though, overrated af.

Why wasn't there any teachers looking after the kids whose parents were late? Surely Simone would be blaming the school and not herself.

I regularly started watching Hollyoaks in 2013 soon after I heard of the success of Esther's suicide storyline and Clare Devine's return - only for her to be unforgivably killed in the otherwise brilliant Hollyoaks blast. The Fall of Sienna was also brilliant. Then Hollyoaks went down hill following what was meant to be the climax of the Maxine abuse story at her wedding but ended up seeing her go running back to him anyway, plus the storylines were losing credibility and there was too many issue lead storylines crammed in for the sake of awards.

 

I remember watching the Becca/Justin storyline (was so sad when Becca died! :() as well as the succeeding storylines despite never being a regular viewer. Will check them all out again!
