Suede have given fans new song 'Barriers' as a free download today (Jan 7). The track is the first to be heard from the band's brand new studio album, which will be titled 'Bloodsports'.

 

'Bloodsports' will be Suede's sixth studio album and their first since 2002. 'Barriers' is the first song to be lifted from the album, due out in March, and is available from their official website now. An official single, titled 'It Starts And Ends With You', is due for release in February.

Paramore's new single 'Now' will be released January 22nd. Look for the self-titled fourth album in stores April 9th on Fueled By Ramen.

Charli XCX - You (Ha Ha Ha) single on 10th February

Wondering what Rudimental intend to promote ahead of their debut record. "Hell Could Freeze" featuring Angel Haze is being supported by R1 currently, and "Not Giving In" is still being played; but the former is more of promotion for Haze following her So13 placement. Doesn't help that the track is available for free on their website too. Believe they've got a record for Emeli Sande they're intending to release at some point - might be easy for them to release that as the third single while she's still one of the most talked about artists; unless a more interesting collaboration is waiting for a release (Ed Sheeran perhaps, who's on the same label: Asylum).

 

Anyone know when Will.i.am is releasing #willpower too? Was rumoured to be December, though "Scream & Shout" was postponed. February 12 is mentioned online a lot, but all the recent leaks have made him very cautious as to when he's releasing it; and he's got The Voice UK to record. Hopefully he's releasing it in March/April sometime to coincide with The Voice; much like Calvin's '18 Months' it's an album that's been a long time coming - hope it can be a big success.
