70 people voted in total, up a single person from last year so thanks for the growth. :P The song in last place this year has scored better than The X Factor Finalists did last year but the winner couldn't even reach the total of "On The Floor" which claimed bronze last year (probably because there are 6 extra songs to spread points between).

I only liked *one* of those 36 #1's enough to buy it. :o

I think it'll be between Gotye, Carly and Titanium for the #1 - and Chris Brown should easily and deservedly get last place :puke:

36th Chris Brown - "Turn Up The Music" // 400PTS

With less positive votes than The Justice Collective, and getting -10 from 7 people (making it the most hated song ahead of One Direction, who got 6), Chris Brown finishes in last with what was the worst selling #1 of the year. "Don't Wake Me Up" is much better.

35th The Justice Collective - "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" // 400PTS

The Christmas #1 just beats him. I wouldn't say this is a bad song/cover as such (though it did get about 4 -10s), it just couldn't gather as much love and Rebecca Ferguson and her amazing delivery of "HE'S MAAA BROTHAAAA" is the only reason I'd personally listen out of choice.

That's the only reason I wouldn't listen to the song out of choice! :o

Poor Justice Collective and Chris Brown, both are in the Top 200 in my EOY chart. :( I have to agree with Jahq, Don't Wake Me Up is so good but a lot of people seem to underrate the song!

34th Ne-Yo - "Let Me Love You" // 480PTS

Getting less positive votes than One Direction is the very generic "Let Me Love You", taken from Ne-Yo's album "R.E.D.". Wikipedia tells me that Sia is a co-writer and I can't believe she can write such greats like "Diamonds", but then also work on stuff like this (which I actually liked for a short time).

33rd One Direction - "Little Things" // 480PTS

How could you, Buzzjack. :( Almost a third of the points here came from myself, with "Little Things" being my personal favourite #1 of the year. With genius lyrics from Ed Sheeran, we all now know it's best to go to bed without a cup of tea if we don't want to talk in our sleep.

"Little Things" is utter dross, a shame for Ne-Yo since I don't actually like "Let Me Love You" but it has at least some redeeming features. Sort of.

32nd Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band - "Sing" // 530PTS

I actually don't mind this one too much, it's better than the Military Wives Christmas #1 anyway.

31st James Arthur - "Impossible" // 570PTS

The X Factor winners cover of Shontelle's "Impossible" can't quite manage the top 30. Sure, it's not as good as the original, but a really good cover either way.

30th The Script (feat. will.i.am) - "Hall Of Fame" // 650PTS

The UK's version of "Moves Like Jagger", making some impact in the US, I'm surprised by just how low The Voice judges Danny and Will are here. Maybe not The Script's best but a great song.

29th Wiley - "Heatwave" // 770PTS

A summer smash that's perfectly catchy if generic, I don't think it's aging very well but that could just be a seasonal thing.

More comments people.

Of course I'd love Carly to be #1!! I think Gotye, David Guetta ft. Sia, Swedish House Mafia, Rihanna and Florence & The Machine should all be somewhere in the top 10 and hopefully Gabrielle and Tulisa can do very well too!

28th Flo Rida - "Good Feeling" // 850PTS

One of the first #1s of the year and one of Flo Rida's best singles thanks to the Etta James sample. But despite it being his #1 of the era, does it really feel like his biggest hit?

27th Maroon 5 (feat. Wiz Khalifa) - "Payphone" // 900PTS

The follow-up to "Moves Like Jagger", another very big smash for Maroon 5. I loved this when it premiered but am sick of hearing it by now, like a fair few of the songs in this countdown to be fair.

One more song to come with less than 1000 points but what is it?

Thought Good Feeling would be higher :o

Hopefully it's Tulisa. :puke:

I second that!

Little Things SO LOW?! It was expected but still. :(

Turn Up The Music is actually better than Don't Wake Me Up but still shite.

Rebecca Ferguson is clearly the best thing about HAH,HMB.

I'm sorry, but Sing above Let Me Love You absolutely sickens me. :puke: :kink:

"He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" is perhaps the most depressing song that I've ever heard. So, so awful  Gutted that "Little Things" is this low as well, it's a very decent pop ballad, and has clearly been overlooked due to the act behind it.

I'm hoping for a Cheryl/Carly Rae top two, but that's not going to happen :(

Let Me Love You, Heatwave, Good Feeling, Payphone TOO LOW (especially Let Me Love You)

Great to see Justice Collective, Chris Brown, Gary Barlow and The Script in the bottom end!

I think it'll be between Gotye, Carly and Titanium for the #1 - and Chris Brown should easily and deservedly get last place :puke:

I think it'll surely be Titanium or Spectrum at #1.

I'm glad Turn Up the Music and Let Me Love You are so low.
