Officially boycotting this countdown now 'Wings is out'. And, We Are Young / Somebody That I Used To Know still being left physically repulses me. If the latter wins (and I imagine it stands a chance), I will be extremely disappointed.

I love your disgust at 2 of my fave songs of last year

Aww at Little Mix just missing Top 10. :( At the expense of "Diamonds" of all things. Atrocious song.

This leaves us with a top 10 of;

Calvin Harris - Sweet Nothing

Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe

Coldplay - Paradise

David Guetta - Titanium

Florence + The Machine - Spectrum

fun. - We Are Young

Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know

Rihanna - Diamonds

Rudimental - Feel The Love

Swedish House Mafia - Don't You Worry Child

That's an amazing Top Ten! Apart from Call Me Maybe and Diamonds. :kink:

Wings is a good song but I grew bored of the song fairly quickly. I hate Domino as well, it's so overrated! :puke:

10th Coldplay - "Paradise" // 3360PTS

The first #1 of the year, I was surprised this did so well with it not being as recent but it is a great song, Coldplay's best, and maybe the amazing 'Life of Pi' trailer helped people remember it. Yeah that'll be it.

9th Rihanna - "Diamonds" // 3470PTS

So the Rihanna reign has let up and she fails to win for the third year in a row, not even managing top 5. Poor effort RiRi. Still a really good track though, she always brings it with the lead singles.

8th Calvin Harris (feat. Florence Welch) - "Sweet Nothing" // 3790PTS

Why was this Calvin's #1. :( Every single #2 he's had recently has been better, especially "Feel So Close". This isn't as bad as "Spectrum" though.

7th fun. (feat. Janelle Monáe) - "We Are Young" // 3960PTS

Great song, just killed by overplay. And the fact Glee did it better. At least it gave Janelle Monáe a hit though, because the song would obviously be nothing without her.

COLDPLAY 2 DIE

Paradise is far from their most offensive song, but anything sung by that voice cannot be anything less than AURAL RAPE

Two of the best (#9 and #10) and the two worst (#7 and #8) in the top 10 out fairly quickly is good.

Titanium, STIUTK or DYWC to win please.

Feel So Close > {Spectrum} > Bounce > Sweet Nothing > Let's Go > The one with Example

Just about. I really do like the first four, but the other two (and the new single with Tinie Tempah) are trash.

Bounce >>>>>> Let's Go >>> Sweet Nothing >> Feels So Close >>>>>>> Drinking From The Bottle >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> We'll Be Coming Back

6th Rudimental - "Feel The Love" // 4060PTS

Huge Summer smash, never expected it to be as big as it was but it is a great song and can be forgiven for kinda blocking Loreen.

5th Swedish House Mafia - "Don't You Worry Child" // 4190PTS

Best dance tune of the year. Easily Swedish House Mafia's best. Such a high note for them to end on. Out of the choices left this would've been my preferred winner. C'MON CARLY.

I dont really like any of Calvin Harris's singles from this era.
