Very strong Top 10 there! Well done Buzzjack!

Don't see why people love Wide Awake so much, at the time of release it was okay, but Part of Me is far superior.

10. ADELE - SKYFALL (127 POINTS)

You may have my number, you can take my name, But you'll never have my heart......

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 6
OCC PEAK: 2 (1 wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 2
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 22
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 13
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE: 21.1667
RUN: 1-1-4-3-2-2

Although not quite managing to secure the 2nd & 4th slot like she did in 2011 (with "Someone Like You" and "Rolling In The Deep" respectively), Adele still manages to finish in the top 10 for a second year running with the new James Bond theme "Skyfall", which went onto become the biggest British film of all time at the box office. Adele found herself with an Oscar nomination, and what would have probably been her second OCC #1, if she didn't release it on a Friday to coincide with Bond's 50th birthday. She can reconcile herself with three Reshuffle #1s, this being her third.

9. LITTLE MIX - WINGS (147 POINTS)

Mama told me not to waste my life, She said spread your wings, my little butterfly......

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 4
OCC PEAK: 1 (1 wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 2
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 9
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 0
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE: 36.75
RUN: 1-3-2-2

With the shortest week tally (4) for a song in this year's top 10, the high average of 36.75 gives Little Mix's "proper" debut a massive placing in the 2012, a perfect summery inspirational song, Little Mix followed on from this with a consecutive Reshuffle #1 with "DNA", making them only the second X Factor contestant after Alexandra Burke to have two Reshuffle #1s. The song seemed to be well-liked and is the second highest song on the list not to recieve a single "-5", and the highest girlband song of the year.

8. RIHANNA - WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN (149 POINTS)

Are you hiding from me, yeah? Somewhere in the crowd......

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 4
OCC PEAK: 6 (3 wks)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 2
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 16
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 5
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE: 29.8
RUN: 1-2-2-3-2

Rihanna's second highest entry of the year, and the one of the co-producers on this track was responsible for 2011's #1, Calvin Harris. The song stood out on Rihanna's Talk That Talk album, especially as a song, that would play well in Europe. This and "We Found Love" are the only songs I play with any regularity from TTT. This is Rihanna's second year running to have two entries in the YE Top 10, ("We Found Love" & "What's My Name" managed for 2011). Although, last year she shared that honor with Adele, this year she carries it alone.

7. RIHANNA - DIAMONDS (169 POINTS)

You're a shooting star I see, a vision of ecstasy......

(Stats refer to 2012)
WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 13
OCC PEAK: 1 (1 wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 4
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 16
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 5
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE: 13
RUN: 3-2-3-5-6-3-4-4-3-4-3-3-5

Yes, Rihanna can't get her third consecutive year-end Reshuffle #1 as she did with "Rude Boy" in 2010 and "We Found Love" in 2011, which means we have a new artist(s) recieving that honor, as Calvin Harris is out of the running and Lady GaGa was never in contention. The lead single from Unapologetic inevitably entered at number one and is her joint longest runner in the top 10. The song was unlike most Rihanna songs and my opinion of the song changed from week to week. The song is the highest on this list not to receive the honor of being Reshuffle #1.

Six left, two drop out tomorrow

"Call Me Maybe" - Carly Rae Jepsen

"Somebody That I Used To Know" - Gotye ft. Kimbra

"Spectrum" - Florence + The Machine

"Starships" - Nicki Minaj

"Titanium" - David Guetta ft. Sia

"We Are Young" - Fun. ft. Janelle Monáe

Rude Boy was number one for 2010? :manson: I like it, but there was so many fantastic songs from that year which were far more superior.

I'm predicting Somebody That I Used to Know or Titanium for number one this year.

I know, I wouldn't have picked it either, but that's a democratic vote for ya. FYI, the 2009 #1 was Lady GaGa's "Paparazzi" but Theo started the Reshuffle Chart later on in 2009.

Paparazzi is even more shocking! :o Higher than Poker Face and Bad Romance? Pfft.

Shoulda been Bad Romance - the single best thing she has EVER done, song and video!

As much as I'd love to take full credit, Jonjo started it and I took it over two or three weeks later :P I don't remember "Rude Boy" being that successful though - when did I pass on the hosting honour?

Well, as I say it started later on in 2009 and "Poker Face" was earlier on. "Bad Romance" was split between '09 & '10 but it still finished Top 10 in both years, even finishing second in 2009.

Sorry, Jonjo! I'm not sure of the exact date but sometime in 2010, then it was CW, then me from Jan 2011 (for which I have full data). I used your 2009 Year End & CW's 2010 YE, to find out the YE #1s and the worst of the year as well as finding out the full Reshuffle #1s since inception (which I'm sure included Jonjo's as well).

6. NICKI MINAJ - STARSHIPS (182 POINTS)

Can't stop 'cause we're so high, let's do this one more time......

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 11
OCC PEAK: 2 (1 wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 3
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 41
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 30
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE: 16.54545
RUN: 1-1-1-2-2-1-2-4-5-6-10

Missing out on the top five, is the highest song on the list not to be OCC #1, It did however manage to be Reshuffle #1 for four weeks (3 consecutively). It's Minaj's biggest hit on here and in terms of sales and chart position, but I prefer the superior Super Bass. Starships appears to be a marmite song however, as it's one of the rare songs to be both Reshuffle #1 and #10 in its lifespan, falling hard in it's last four weeks, it's also the song with the second most -5s after One Direction's Little Things.

5. GOTYE FT. KIMBRA - SOMEBODY THAT I USED TO KNOW (308 POINTS)

No you didn't have to stoop so low, have your friends collect your records and then change your number ......

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 18
OCC PEAK: 1 (5 wks)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 3
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 38
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 18
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE: 17.1111
RUN: 2-2-1-1-2-2-2-3-1-4-3-5-3-5-3-6-4-5

And a massive leap up in points to our top five with all scoring 300+ points (compared to just the #1 scoring that in 2011), even with by far the most T10 weeks of the year, Gotye's sentimentless ballad about broken relationships can only come fourth, but if the top 4 were all in 2011, they would all have beaten "We Found Love" to top that year. BTW, I  this song and I probably would have included it in my top ten of the year as well.

So that's the final four battling out for Friday's final two, who do you think it'll be?

"Call Me Maybe" - Carly Rae Jepsen

"Spectrum" - Florence + The Machine

"Titanium" - David Guetta ft. Sia

"We Are Young" - Fun. ft. Janelle Monáe

I'm predicting:

1. Titanium

2. Spectrum

3. We Are Young

4. Call Me Maybe

Or at least that's how I would LIKE it to be! :P
