Let Me Love You and Don't Wake Me Up didn't deserve to be so low though, both are brilliant songs that receive far too much hate on this website. :(

A radio favourite, Train returned in 2012 with their 2nd top 10 hit. I don't have that much to say on this one except I find it quite boring, and forgot what it sounded like before I listened to it again today. Not a patch on Hey, Soul Sister for me.

"Drive By" is so bland. It was great on first listen, but then Radio 1 discovered it. The lyrics are piss-poor as well.

To top of the bottom ten of the year, it's this summer OCC #1, I was surprised that this was one of the few songs this year to manage two or more weeks at #1, this song is very repetetive and not in a good, catchy way. Not what I would have picked to be Wiley's only OCC to date. Ms. D's appearance means this is the first appearance of a credited female vocal to appear yet. It also had a nice reshuffle run, going 6-7-8-9-10 in it's five weeks.

How can Drive By be so low, surrounded by a load of deservedly low songs? :( It's hardly bland.

A very deserved bottom 2 there! Despite Little Things being one of their best songs, it is still terrible - and Hall Of Fame is too (even if I did try to like it at the start because of will.i.am's feature - but not even he could save this bland MOR sh*t)

 

Also nice to see Chris Brown in the bottom 10 twice! Can't his career DIE? :(

The song is also the first remnant of 2011 to appear on this list, and the lowest song NOT to have anyone give it a "+5".

Continuing the theme of generic pop with male vocals is Taio Cruz. I honest to god couldn't remember how this song went, yet as I do with each song I listened to it before I posted it, and I have already forgotten how most of it goes. There was an over use of vowel sounds throughout though. The song obviously preceded it's more famous 2012 namesake by Olly Murs, which is yet to come on the countdown.

Up next another song which I forgotten how it goes, and I also know nothing about the artist. On listening to it though, it sounds like somebody trying to blend two Bruno Mars songs, the chorus is very reminiscent to the Bad Meets Evil song "Lighters" and the lyrical content similar to "Just The Way You Are", so a very unoriginal song IMHO. Also it is the lowest ranking song on the list to have only been in the T10 for two weeks.

15 songs in and we final reach the lowest scoring hit led by a female vocalist, which is a lot quicker than we had to wait lat year (Down For Whatever was 23 in), so yes even in the lady-loving realm of Buzzjack, Jessie J's 2nd collaboration with Guetta fails to impress. I think like Trey Songz previous example, the song likes the melding of two different songs (in this case "Titanium" and "Firework") and something about her voice just didn't sit right with me on this recording. I'm not hating though, but she's very hit-and-miss with me. Jessie has herself one more entry to come, whilst Guetta still has his collab with Nicki Minaj and his two with Sia.

So the first of new band Lawson's three T10 entries this year, is the lowest scoring for a single with only one week (including last year's as well), the reason behind this was that there was a particular large number of voters that week after Eurovision, and they all seemed to have a problem with this song. I didn't mind it though, it's a nice middle of the road song.
