Not including 'Nothing But The Beat 2.0' will make no difference aside from the couple of months when that was in the chart - an even newer version, 'Nothing But The Beat Ultimate', is being combined so the sales are once again in favour of the 'original' version and 2.0 will probably not sell much more.

Ah thanks I didn't know that- I get lost with these "upteen" editions :(

That naughty baby probably put the kibosh on a release schedule akin to IASF but nevermind “4” still sells almost 600k so Beyonce won’t be disappointed. Chase & Status prove that dance music can sell albums, only moderate falls for Pixie Lott and Rumer and of course the boy band of the moment One Direction arrive with their second album “Take Me Home” which just missed out on the top 40 of the decade but maybe next year?

Selected track:

For a dance/drum n bass album, the sales for Chase and Status' No More Idols are incredible! It's been in the charts for about one hundred weeks too! Surely one of the best selling drum n bass albums in the UK?

You sound surprised that a rock album with over two million sales for all of its songs combined manages to do that.

Robbie Williams and Susan Boyle are back with their second albums on this chart and for both they are their biggest sellers in terms of this decade, same goes for JLS however this is the third and biggest of their albums, whilst Florence and her machine have another massive seller to come. Rebecca Ferguson posts the second biggest climb on the rundown within the top 100, in part thanks to a re-issue deluxe version.

2012’s fourth biggest album "Born To Die" from Lana debuts at No 33 on the decade list but there isn’t much movement in this section with p!nk up just a place for her GH set whilst Bon Jovi move down 1 place with theirs, and Noel Gallagher proves that he can outsell an Oasis album with the double platinum debut.

Selected Track:

Oooh nice to see P!nk's GH <3 didn't expect it to sell quite so much.
I must download Noel G's album.

I know it's said about every Oasis / Noel / Beady Eye album but it really is his best since Morning Glory. And that's high praise from me given I'd give Don't Believe The Truth an 8/10.

I dont usually have any interest in any Noel product but I'm going on my memory of the the two tracks I heard - they seemed quite good.

506,900 is amazing result for Westlife - Greatest Hits !!!

This album is not so pointless as Steps - The Ultimate Collection, but most their huge hits were on "Unbreakable: The Greatest Hits Volume 1" (2002), which sold 1.4 million copies in the UK alone.

Into the ¾ of a million sellers we go with this bunch. Not much of note movement wise, some will be surprised at sales of Justin Bieber’s debut set but it continues to sell, as does Olly Murs’s debut album thanks to his ongoing success it continues a gentle descent. With a new album due this year Tinie Tempah should get a boost for his first album, will it be enough to keep it top 30 though?

How on earth did KOL sell over 850k of an album almost without anyone noticing? Anyway though they move down the chart they have more sticking power than Eminem and Alicia Keys who slip further. Elsewhere two climbers, a gentle ascent for Amy Winehouse with “Lioness” which still comes in and out of the top 100 regularly, and One Direction who almost halve their position and climb from 41-23 setting a high benchmark for that second album sitting at No 42.

25 Didn't realise this was so close to 800k! I thought it had only just passed 700k! :o Well that's a nice suprise, should actually pass 800k after a couple of months.

24 Pass one million already!

Edited by liamk97

I didn't realise Tinie Tempah had sold over 750k :o Amazing for a non-Eminem rap album! :D

Edited by 2013 Thermometer

Yeah, Tinie's sales seem so disproportionately high for a rapper besides the anomaly of Eminem. I think Dizzee Rascal's 'Tongue N' Cheek' may be the only UK rap album that can even come close to comparing (not sure how much that has sold though).

I noticed 'Come Around Sundown' smashing :P Was hardly not going to after the success of 'Only By The Night'. Disappointing that it fizzled out before it could hit the million, I suppose it never even bothers the top 200 these days.
