I was pretty sure "Lonely Boy" held the record for weeks in the top 100 without getting into the top 75 at the start of last year, I can't be bothered checking it now Chartstats is dead but I think it was about nine weeks.

Eric Carmen 'Hungry Eyes' is the longest running non-top-75 top 100 hit that I know of, at 11 weeks with a #82 peak. Both 'Lonely Boy' and 'The Motto' have 9 weeks with a #80 peak.

Chartstats still works for peaks/weeks (prior to the date it got 'shut down'), it's only the charts/runs that are gone.
