Posted January 7, 201312 yr V2 : YTD Sales Estimates – Helpful suggestions : Please check these notes before you request sales estimates - it makes my task a lot easier (apologies to regulars for the repetition). Important : Most of the big hits from before 2012 will now have dropped from my tracking range after the Y/E reset, so the Y/E 2012 thread should be your first port of call for those now. 1. Please state clearly which artist + title of single/album you want an estimate for (as they are held on separate spreadsheets), and whether YTD and/or total sales 2. I'd be grateful if you could try to keep requests down to a reasonable number - say no more than a half-dozen or so. 3. I only track singles/albums that debut, or have charted significantly in the current year, with the proviso that they are also in my tracking range (roughly YTD T200). Also, please don't ask for anything that debuted before 2009 - I won't be able to help.. 4. Finally, please check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. January 7, 201312 yr If a song comes back into the chart during a specific year like say - The Script - The man who cant be moved last year - how do you get an approximate figure for sales in intervening years - just hope MW come up with a tally?
