I like the drum and bass inspired bit of the chorus and her vocals are VERY good.

 

The only thing I don't like is in the final chorus when she goes "I think I'd have a heart attack. TAAAAACKKK". It grates on me for some bizarre reason :lol: :lol:

Yeah I agree with you there, I was reluctant to like it because it was by Demi but it is actually a decent song!

Already slaying our iTunes chart! #8 in less than an hour & a half! BOOM.

So so happy for her!! I think she has a good chance of peaking at #3 on iTunes and hopefully getting a top 5 position officially, which would be the record for the recent Disney stars I think! :D

I have a feeling it'll have the same curse as other Disney stars' big hits (AKA "Ready or Not" and "Naturally") and chart at #8. If this out peaks either song, I'll cry.

I think this could be in with a shot of being #2 now, surely? :o

I think #2 is the best we can hope for (which is still brilliant!). I'll be incredibly surprised (but very pleased) if she does somehow manage to go all the way and make even just iTunes #1. It won't happen though, Daft Punk's momentum is not slowing down as quickly as it'd need to be. Really looking forward to seeing how close she can get to the iTunes number 1 though.

Let's not forget that Heart Attack could stay in the Top 3 for a few weeks, gain momentum and eventually climb to #1!

I just wish they'd add this to Spotify!

Demi reaching the iTunes top 3 is just fantastic!! I do have a feeling she will drop very quickly like 'Boomerang' did as this song's release has been very similar to what Nicole managed with pre-orders and then reaching #3 as well! I hope I'm wrong though and it can stay top 10 for quite a few weeks! :wub:

Nicole had f*** all airplay though, Demi's got good playlisting so should have extra staying power.

and also the fact that Heart Attack doesn't start to sound boring and tired after only 5 listens.

'Boomerang' is great! It truly had a boomerang style effect on me. I got bored of it, before I got back into it. It's a fantastic, under appreciated pop song. :(

As well as Demi performing on Britain's Got Talent next week, she is also going to be on Alan Carr next Friday! :cheer:

Oh, that's fantastic promotion next week for Demi, I wonder if her album could possibly re-peak? I'm hoping that Heart Attack manages to re-enter the top 6-7 on iTunes next week though.

I'm not sure if 'Heart Attack'/'DEMI' will receive much of a boost this week on Alan Carr as it's Mark Owen who's performing. Demi's just being interviewed I think (unless they give her the chance to perform too). :(

Loved Demi's performance so much, the vocals were amazing and that last chorus was especially incredible! Really hope that gets the song back into the iTunes top 10! :wub:
