Posted January 11, 201312 yr What's the most anticipated chapter of the Britney bible? http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9zskhfEkZ1qhgj0co1_500.gif Edited January 11, 201312 yr by Tyler
January 11, 201312 yr 'Blackout' mainly because it was the first time I had brought an album with my own money and one of the first albums I had ever pre-ordered from my own account and whatnot, so the anticipation was killing me! Also, 3 or 4 years we had to wait for that!
January 11, 201312 yr Author I think it is a very close tie between Oops and Blackout. One because it was the follow up to one of the biggest pop albums of all time, and the other because we had not gotten new music in 4 years. And she was EVERYWHERE both times, once in a good way the other... not so much.
January 11, 201312 yr Circus for me. At the time i was OBSESSED with Womanizer, moreso than any other Britney song before that, so the build up was fantastic for me (and it did not disappoint!)
February 25, 201312 yr Voted for Oops ! (My second most anticipated album ever after Geri Halliwell "Scream If You Wanna..") Second place for "Circus" : After really weak "Blackout", there are not many experiments with sound. Her most pop material after the first and second albums. Well done, Britney. April 1, 201312 yr Blackout for me because of Gimme More was just so good at the time I wanted to hear more and it was the first britney album I brought.
April 1, 201312 yr Blackout, especially after all the leaked songs we got before it, I knew it was going to be amazing.
April 1, 201312 yr "Blackout" The last thing anything expected from Britney at the time. And non of the non-fans knew about all the leaks therefore it must've been such a great surprise when she was running around pantiless but bringing out great music. Or "In The Zone" 'cuz she really asserted herself as a woman by then. Kissing girls, clubbing it up
April 20, 201312 yr It was undoubtedly Blackout, everyone was eager to see what her producers would come up with after so long. Still adore 'Gimme More' to this day.
April 24, 201312 yr I thought this was an objective poll, rather than people's personal thoughts? Or is it supposed to be what YOU anticipated most? Objectively, definitely OIDIA or Blackout - the former because it followed her monster debut and the latter because there was such a huge gap (for Britney at least) between albums plus she went through her breakdown beforehand. Personally, I'd say ITZ. It felt like, as a 10 year old, 'I'm A Slave 4 U' was always on the music channels and there was never any new material. Then the MATM music video dropped and as soon as I saw the video caption, I was thinking "WTF?! BRITNEY'S RETURNED????"
April 25, 201312 yr Definitely OIDIA for me, I couldnt wait to see what she'd come up with after BOMT
May 16, 201312 yr Blackout was the worst album. Microsoft Britney suffering from a breakdown? It wasn't nice to see her feel obliged to put out a sub-par album when she had those problems, like on show for everyone. In The Zone, however, was brilliant, her best album by far. If it hadn't been for that breakdown/ awful albums following it and she continued growing in that direction, she'd probably still be relevant today. All the papers were anticipating ITZ, and for good reason. They were saying there were responses to Cry Me a River, etc on it. When lyrics were leaking, they were labelling it the 'sex album'. People wanted to hear it! Edited May 16, 201312 yr by Michael.

May 20, 201312 yr Actually can I change my answer? In the Zone WASN'T anticipated, it sold reall well over a long time because of its singles and the fact it was a great album (word of mouth). The press scared people off with the sex album tags. Don't think it ever made top 10. However, OOps! I Did It Again shot to number one, and Blackout opened on high sales, so probably either of those two albums. Britney [ 0 ] ** [0.00%] Wasn't a very good album, singles aside mind! No, it peaked at No.13 but it almost reached double platinum on the back of "Toxic" and "Everytime" being big No.1 singles.
