25 - Jason Mraz "I Won't Give Up"

Starting at the end of the poll, scoring +011 points, is "I Won't Give Up", the second chart hit for Jason Mraz. It entered the chart three years later than his 2008/9 hit "I'm Yours". Coincidentally both songs went to #11 in the official chart. An X Factor performance was the reason for IWGU's peak of #11. It was dangerously close to the top 10 but thankfully just missed out in the end. Personally I find the song very dull and boring - many of you agree as it got SIX "-02s".

24 - Lady Antebellum "Need You Now"

Lady Antebellum is next in the chart with "Need You Now", scoring +024 points, including three "-02s". This song came back in the charts thanks to a performance at the Diamond Jubilee concert - and finally made its way into the UK Top 20 by doing so - having missed out in 2010 when it peaked at #21. It is their only hit in the UK but they have had many other hits in the US - this song is one of the best digital sellers ever over there - thankfully we didn't take to it quite as much as I don't like the song very much.

23 - Paloma Faith "Never Tear Us Apart"

2012 was a big year for Paloma, she scored her first top 10 hit single and a #2 album - plus being played on Radio 2 loads and used on many adverts. This was one of them, she recorded the song for John Lewis' TV advert that was on air for a few months before Gabrielle Aplin would take over for Christmas. The song scored +031 points.

22 - Justin Bieber feat. Nicki Minaj "Beauty And A Beat"

A love/hate figure on Buzzjack - but this song crossed over more thanks to it's dance-pop sound and the Nicki Minaj feature. It has 140k views on YouTube - proving that Bieber is going nowhere. Buzzjack gave +037 points to this song. I am on the hate side of Bieber but this is one of his better songs.

21 - Cheryl "Under The Sun"

Cheryl Cole, who dropped her last name for her latest album released a chilled summery song. With the number of Girls Aloud fans on the forum this was never not going to chart - but the song is very weak compared to "Call My Name" which may be why it is low in the countdown. Buzzjack gave it +045 points

20 - Mumford & Sons "I Will Wait"

Mumford & Sons start off the top 20 with their comeback single "I Will Wait", scoring +046 points from you. So far it is the only song from their latest album to have charted - but it did very well, becoming their first top 20 hit and their second longest-running hit in the chart. The Cave had 26 weeks in the top 75.

19 - Nicki Minaj "Va Va Voom"

The second entry for Nicki Minaj in this countdown, proving how dominant she is in the charts today. The third proper single taken from #1 album "Roman Reloaded", it really should've charted a lot higher as it's very good. Buzzjack gave it +048 points.

This song originally flopped when it was released in 2011, thanks to "Jar Of Hearts" being everywhere. It went back in the charts thanks to the song being used in many TV shows and it gave Christina another hit! It scored +048 points

17 - Sub Focus feat. Alpines "Tidal Wave"

British drum n' bass producer who has been having top 40 hits since 2009 finally had his first top 20 with help from British duo Alpines to make a great song that scored +050 points from Buzzjackers.

I really wanted Paloma Faith higher :(

16 - Redlight "Get Out My Head"

British producer Redlight got his first chart hit with this song featuring Nicole Jackson, a former X Factor contestant. He would later get a top 5 hit with "Lost In Your Love" but the general public prefered this overall, as it started the official top 150 best selling songs of the year and LIYL was not in the chart. Buzzjack gave the song +057 points

15 - Rudimental feat. John Newman & Alex Clare "Not Giving In"

Rudimental's follow up to massive #1 "Feel The Love" scored +057 points here. It, again, features John Newman. It also has Alex Clare, famous for #4 hit "Too Close". Rudimental's next single *shock horror* DOESN'T feature John Newman! "Hell Could Freeze" features Angel Haze and is available for free on their website.

14 - Rebecca Ferguson "Backtrack"

Former X Factor contestant Rebecca lead her re-release of debut album "Heaven" with this song, scoring +058 points. It was performed on The X Factor and it is her best song to date, unfortunately it didn't outpeak the borefest that is "Nothing's Real But Love". Rebecca recently got a #1 as part of The Justice Collective, where she sings one of the best lines of the song "heeeee's' myyyy bruuuvvver"

Latch FTW obviously, although i think it'll fall short. The winner'll probably be Primadonna or 212 (or Dance Again, heaven forbid)

Despite having a million selling single recently with Maroon 5, clearly the general public took a liking to Maroon 5 and couldn't care less about Christina. Her album performed even worse than the single. Only on Buzzjack could this go to #12... scoring +061 points
