Simon & Garfunkel's Greatest Hits, is at No.40 this Week. It becomes only the

10th Album to reach 300 Weeks on the UK Album Chart.

 

Simon & Garfunkel have 2 of the 10 Albums. With Bridge Over Troubled Water also

giving them the most Weeks in the Top 40 - for an Artist Album - 278 Weeks. And that

is also the Artist Album with the most Top 10 Weeks - 135 Weeks.

 

Their Greatest Hits Album has the most Top 40 Weeks for a 'Hits' Album - 220 Weeks.

So "Gold" has a) Most Top 75 weeks and b) Most Top 100 Weeks but not most "chart weeks"

Yes - 'Gold' does not have the 'Most Chart Weeks', because it was released

in September 1992 - over 3.5 Years after the entire Top 100 stopped being

used for UK Chart Books etc. So, its 454 Weeks do not contain any No.76

to No.100 Positions. They are all Top 75 Weeks.

How is the 'chart weeks' list affected if you include #76-100 positions since the OCC started posting them on their website from W/E 23/06/2007? I know you/the OCC don't count them as 'chart weeks' but I do :P
