It was my mistake all along, I had duplicated Chico's week at No. 18 in my database when it should have gone to Madonna.

Apologies to Thermometer, at least it has fixed one error in my data

060. Olly Murs feat. Flo Rida "Troublemaker" 1-1-3-5-7-4-6-10-13->9

We start off with a song that is still in the charts, Olly Murs' most recent chart hit "Troublemaker". Peter Andre obviously wasn't happy about "Mysterious Girl" only going to #2 when it was originally released in 1996 - it was re-promoted and went to #1 in 2004, however its chart run is not as exciting as its 96' run, where it spent 11 weeks in the top 10. At #58 two Nelly songs, I can not remember any of them and neither can most of the general public today. At #57 a song that everyone remembers, but maybe not everyone remembers this version. It was Christmas #1 in 2004. We go to 2010 for the next 2 entries, JLS "Love You More" and Cheryl Cole "Promise This". Sugababes are at #54. We should not be expecting them to hit the weekly top 40 again, however there are rumours that Origibabes also known as MKS are getting back together - however there have been no plans so far that I know of to release a single or album as MKS. The section finishes off with The Proclaimers who re-did their classic 80s song for Comic Relief.

050. Cover Drive "Twilight" 1-6-7-10-19-26-25-32-42-58-70->11

Starting the top 50 is Cover Drive with "Twilight". Chris Brown's "Turn Up The Music" is at #48. Inbetween them is former X Factor contestant Chico with his terrible song named after him. Roll Deep's 2nd and final chart topper "Green Light" is at #47. We then have a row of boring songs, starting with "Real To Me" (I have forgotten how this sounded) and ending with "Lyla". Finishing off is the novelty song "Swagger Jagger" by former X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd.

"Swagger Jagger" is one of the WORST EVER songs known to man. Especially the bad press of what was happening in the news the week she got to #1 ;)

040. Alexandra Burke feat. Laza Morgan "Start Without You" 1-1-5-10-19-27-37-47-53-60->10

Now in the top 40 non-#1s. We start off with Alexandra Burke's chart topper "Start Without You", her worst song to date. Busted are next with their first #1 "You Said No". They also appear at #33 with "Who's David?". Two great songs sit next to each other, those being "Goodies" and "Loca People". The latter is one of my favourite songs of 2011. Westlife cover Barry Manilow's Mandy at #36. Leon Jackson won X Factor in 2007 and so was guaranteed a #1 single. "When You Believe" is at #35. A Kylie song that isn't a fan favourite, "Slow" went to #1 in 2003 but is forgotten in favour of songs such as "On A Night Like This" and "All The Lovers". Peter Kay's most recent charity effort is at #32 and JLS finish the section off with "The Club Is Alive", which is terrible and uses too much autotune.

22. X Factor Finalists 2009 "You Are Not Alone" 1-2-5-11-12-29-51->7

23. Sam and Mark "With A Little Help From My Friends" 1-2-13-25-42-49-73-74-67-67->10

24. McFly "I'll Be OK" 1-8-15-27-41-49-58-54-54->9

25. U2 "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" 1-7-18-27-35-39-56-60-60R(2)->9

26. Joe McElderry "The Climb" 2-1-2-15-25-38-50-68->8

27. Ja Rule feat. R Kelly & Ashanti "Wonderful" 1-6-11-21-33-48-63-73-73-72->10

28. Diana Vickers "Once" 1-4-8-18-31-44-48-65-75R(6)->9

29. Example "Stay Awake" 1-5-6-14-19-29-47-64->8

30. Dizzee Rascal "Dirtee Disco" 1-4-12-22-35-41-47-61-62-66->10

Almost at the end of this countdown, Dizzee's most recent #1 as a solo artist starts off, it's one of his best songs to date but today is only remembered for missing the top 100 songs of its year. We have another 2010 flop #1, this time from Diana Vickers who after "Once" never had any big hits again and clearly Once wasn't a very big hit itself. Inbetween Diana and Dizzee is Example who is one of the many artists that stopped Moves Like Jagger from going to #1. At #27 Ja Rule with forgotten hit "Wonderful" and at #26 is Joe McElderry - who won The X Factor. U2 start off the top 25. McFly are at #24. We will see them two more times in this countdown. Sam and Mark from Pop Idol are at #23, another Joe McElderry related entry at #22 - all the finalists of the 2009 series made a charity song covering Michael Jackson who had died that year. will.i.am finishes us off with "Scream & Shout" which does not deserve to be in this list and would not be this low had I started this countdown a few months later.

Isn't it a bit unfair to include songs that are currently in the charts? Scream & Shout is obviously gonna rack up a good few more weeks in the Top 75 yet, so you can't really compare it to the other 9 songs above.

013. Shout For England feat. Dizzee Rascal & James Corden "Shout" 1-1-3-15-40-62->6

018. Westlife "The Rose" 1-3-5-11-21-36-40->7

019. James Arthur "Impossible" 1-2-1-1-3-7->6

020. Robbie Williams "Radio" 1-3-9-17-30-37-52-66->8

Now into the top 20 floppy #1s of the last 10 years. Robbie Williams went to #1 in 2004 with "Radio", and it would be his last #1 ever - until "Candy" came along. It is at #20 in this chart. James Arthur is next with "Impossible". The song is still charting and doesn't deserve to be in this group of flops. Another X Factor winning act, Little Mix are at #17 with "Cannonball". The 2010 Finalists finish at #15 with "Heroes". Westlife's final #1 is at #18 and the Christmas #1 of 2011 is at #16. Nero's brilliant "Promises" was lucky enough to get to #1 on a low-sales week, but like all their other singles it fell down the chart very fast. The charity single for the World Cup, by Dizzee and James Corden is at #13. Another Comic Relief chart topper is in this section, at #11. Between the 2 charity singles we have an Elvis re-issue.

009. Elvis Presley "One Night/I Got Stung" 1-20-40-26-31-51->6

010. McFly "Star Girl" 1-9-19-27-42-62->6

And we come to the end of the countdown. Rage Against The Machine, the Christmas #1 of 2009 is the shortest running #1 of recent times. In 2nd place is McFly with their 1-20 dive. Elvis re-issues take up 3rd and 9th place. Another McFly song starts the section off at #10. The rest of the countdown is full of charity singles, Helping Haiti, X Factor Finalists, Justice Collective and Comic Relief. We also have a duet from Katie and Eva.

Surprised at that #1! (Though it did have a chart run in the '90s too tbf) I had it pegged as either being one of the Elvis reissues, McFly or a charity single.
