At the beginning of January 2012, Kylie revealed she would be celebrating her 25th anniversary in the music industry, dubbed 'K25'. The whole year would see a variety of surprises, including a special video uploaded onto Kylie's official YouTube channel each 25th of each month. The first video was uploaded a year ago today after 25,000 fans tweeted '#k25fan' to unlock it in the space of only 90 minutes, making it the #4 trending topic worldwide and #1 in the UK on that day. This video was a specially re-recorded acoustic version of her UK #11 hit 'Finer Feelings', recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.

Finer Feelings is one of my favourites on the album. I can remember hearing it this time last year and being shocked by the outcome: once a song I never payed any attention to and now one I had to keep replaying over and over. Such a dramatic change from the original and it got me really excited for the rest of 2012, even though at the time I doubted anything else would be able to top Finer Feelings...how wrong I was!

 

Finer Feelings was later available on Kylie's orchestral compilation album The Abbey Road Sessions.

 

 

Finer Feelings remains one of the best reworks on The Abbey Road Sessions.

I do like the new version of finer feelings, it was one her singles that i was never overly keen on but i do like the new version so much more, but it wouldnt be my favourite rework either.
