We all go a little mad sometimes. Haven't you?

Oscar and the Wolf fail to make the farcing final, finishing 18th in their semi. The ghostly tune which captivated the nation from first listen (as a Persephonian treat) holds a strong place in our listening heart this year and so we're proud it mustered up a decent amount of support, even if it wasn't quite enough. Failing to take wing and now stuffed in the 'maker archives, our heads now turn towards the final where HYPE is building up high...

Don't know what i'm gonna do.

I really don't know how "Princes" failed to make the final, it was easily amongst the Top 10 in that Semi and was so much better than some of the dirge that made it through. :(

I am pro-young. I'm for the young

The enigma has come out of hiding and into the void to present the visual representation of this month's song. In what could be the perfect video for the nation, one that harks back to a whole heap of references that we lap up enough of anyway, and still presenting new and unknown moments, he's not holding back. It seems that the BIG FINAL we're now presented with will pose new challenges but we're ready to hold onto our youth and face them head on.

I'm not much on rear window ethics

The devilishly savage Ben Khan drives into a top 10 placing, finishing 6th out of 51 countries (narrowly beating out the 8th place by 152 points) ^_^. It has taken the nation by force, and it has gladly done the same across the BJ world. In terms of points received, the song is the most successful the country has ever seen (by a single point) but that was obviously elevated by the Big Final in which it was entered, making its overall finishing position even more impressive.

For the next contest, D'yermak'er are preparing their swaggiest entry since Miguel kick started the entire campaign, with a slice of hot urban dance. Can't, can't breathe.

Darling, escape it.

People of my own kind, who treat me right and like me and understand me

A song that defines our nation and all it stands for ^_^ LOLO teamed up with Giggs (the nation's first ever song with a featured artist) and delivered a lowly middling smash eventually finishing 24th. Despite initially assuming it would appeal across the board to dance and urban lovers, the hype dwindled slightly even from the residents of 'maker themselves as we got lost in Ramrynia's lucid dreams instead. The nation is at a complete blank slate for next month and we're hoping something notorious comes out of the blue again as we head to close allies N DNTN~

Uh oh.

My father always taught me, never desert a lady in trouble

With wedding fever reaching new heights, Jai Paul had his dreams come true by defying odds and actually qualifying!!1 making his 26th position in the final, not as damning as it appears. Jasmine has returned safely home, with a suitcase full of empty bottles of gin and her whole future ahead of her. And just as the doors close on party season, it seems one memory from the experience will continue to bang on in the forthcoming month...

Dreams do come true.
